Welp, it has been a fun 3 weeks of pvp officials. But knew it wouldnt last. For PVP official players, you more than likely know what i am referencing. Gonna miss the game tbh.

Sounds like some sort of “trainer” app, the thing that killed NFSW.
Given the context (pvp officials) my guess is a hack/exploit.

There really is no need for a dramatic public farewell to the game that literally provides zero construction feedback for devs to even consider, especially when you have the option of private servers with active admins.

I believe that this topic contradict another post of @Khaletohep created for the upcoming excitement players will feel while playing the new version.
I am really sorry to understand that vital PvP issues still remain. I am guessing, hacks , undermase , exploits, and maybe also report meta . But i am not sure.
I guess i will have to wait to “know” .
If it becomes what it was the PVP population will dwindle to pre-announcement numbers where the only ones left on Officials are those who are new, masochists or love spending hundreds of dollars to third parties.
I hope it doesn’t but it will be the exodus of me and my extended group.
For everyone who sees obvious hacking: target lock if you can, get that nameplate, record and report.
For staff watching this feedback, I know you care, we do too, we love the game. Please do your best and talk to us

Of course it will become what it was, it never really changed?
We have a consistent 9 year history of exploiting and hacking in this game that has always run rampant.
I can list at least 6 exploits that are still a thing in this game and now the lvl 61 bug was figured out a couple days ago and is now being intentionally replicated so you will see an increase of level 61s on the player list. Instead of 1 every now and then, you will be seeing multiple on every server now.
This is nothing new and I am uncertain why anyone that has played this game for years thought the enhanced version would remedy the exploiting and hacking which has always been a thing. Did Funcom promise something I did not see as far as a remedy to the exploiting/hacking issues they have had for 9 years?
Exploits aren’t really the worst issue though, now are they? Most of us know how they work and mostly can counter them.
It’s the hacks.
Anyway, there was implied promise and reprieve from it. So many vets came back or felt renewed.
We shouldn’t be tearing each other down on here. Band together, make our voices heard and request what is right.
You seem a bit defensive, of course hacking is worse than exploiting, I never suggested the opposite but there are some exploits that cannot be countered and Funcom should be handling both.

Many of us that have been playing for 9 years are seeing what we expected. The only thing we were surprised by was the amount of lag happening during heavy server activity, almost unplayable and not a specific server issue.
If new or returning players are disappointed with what they are seeing, I am simply suggesting that they make a productive post that the devs can use to attempt to remedy problems rather than a cryptic post with a dramatic farewell that contains no useful information for the devs to work off of. At the very least, file a detailed report on any exploit/hack players run across/experience in game.
I think you need to tone down the criticism on other players. Seeing the things that caused them to lose faith in and/or leave is knocking the wind out of the sails. Not all of us are going to be “well whatchya expect huh?” It’s like victim blaming, its weird. Maybe not beating people while they’re down is the play.

And I think you might be being a bit too sensitive regarding someone making a cryptic negative dramatic goodbye to a game without providing any useful information to anyone, including the devs for fixing problems, and someone points out that they should be more productive as this type of post does nothing but promotes negativity and invites pile on complaining about the game which adversely impacts current and new players possibly pushing others away.
Now, if you want to argue any of the actual points I made in this or another post, feel free to quote them and address them.

You are not sure of anything as the OP didn’t actually tell us anything, just made a cryptic generic negative post about the game which is not productive or beneficial to anyone. Well, unless we just want to invite a crapload of others players to jump into a PVP discussion forum to vent and bash the game while giving no productive feedback while doing it.
Before someone jumps in to twist my actual point, I am fine with criticism posts and many community members on here do it productively. Heck, I am fine with people mentioning they are quitting the game and providing the reasons behind this and I do take the time to read these posts and I think the devs actually get insight into the issues when people take the time to do this and they see repeat mention of the same issues.
If the OP made a post regarding what they were actually seeing as far as basic issues and why they were leaving and what they did (such as file a report) to try to help improve the issues, you would not have seen a post from me in this thread.

Yep. Picture of a discord group from a stream, thri my trusted grapevine of vets. But Lag and this = time to play something that relaxes me instead of makes me hate humanity more than I do. There is 7,000,000,000 people, a few less would not hurt my feelings.
