Hey y’all before I submit a bug report, has anyone tracked the change inside The Crevice at D11 in Exiled Lands? My friend Bruno alerted me to it, and sure enough, there’s just no way to force that thing into the Crevice. UNABLE TO FIND VALID END LOCATION is the message.

The Crevice in D11 is someplace that I like to build when I play test live, SP. So I don’t know if this will be helpful at all.
I like to put 2 elevators inside the cave. One horizontal and one vertical. Since I like the foundations and other building pieces to line up I end up using sandstone to build the area around each elevator. This wastes the sandstone (and a little wood) but it also gives an anchor point for the elevators.
Horizontal elevators definitely still work. Vertical elevators work anywhere OUTSIDE the cave complex, but anywhere inside won’t let me place it. Would you try to place a new vertical one there in your build?

I built my floor of foundation inside the cave first. Then, I used foundations (columns will work too and are cheaper except the top needs to be a foundation piece) to build up to where I wanted the elevator. Finally, I placed the elevator and destroyed the sandstone foundations I used.
It’s kind of a PITA but it works. Also, I did this on Test Live which often will not be quite as up to date as the Live version after a patch or update has been released live.
You’re too kind! I wanted to verify this is the present situation, because in my server build I already had a building with working elevators.

You are on pvp officisl if I remember. What kind of noob build are you doing in crevice that you have room for elevators? 
Please recall we’re talking about my friend’s Crevice. What he does with his Crevice is his own business, and I’ll be there to help fight off any potential Klingons, dingleberries or other detritus.
I couldn’t get my character to stop looking up at the end so the video is a little longer than it could’ve/should’ve been.

I think the problem occurs when you first claim the land inside the cave, you can’t build an elevator without a “full floor.” Despite my filling in and “columning,” I couldn’t get the vertical to place. What I did was fill in the floor, exit my single player game, load back in – presto the elevators placed. I told my pal to place his floors/foundies, then ride back to his other base/leave the area. He left and logged out. By the time he got back to The Crevice, the elevators would indeed place.
