So my bro and I play on an official pvec server and we have into a situation a few times where people are out running us. A example of this was last night when I was ganked by a group of 3 so I turned and sprinted in a straight line. One guy ran up along side me almost passing me and another caught up and poked me in back with a spear.
I was wearing light armor and was at 46% encumbrance. Was not crippled or had any other disabling effects on me. My build is the 20/20/20/0/0/0.
OP is running a SAV build which has quickfooted by default, stated to be at 46 encum which is green. So by your graph they should be moving at full normal speed Is there a better definition for encumbered vs normal?
Ah, I didn’t notice the part about the build, I see now!
And no, there is no difference between sprinting at 46% or 99% in terms of speed.
My guess then would be more in the realm of lag / exploits if they had Quickfooted.
Edit: The only other thing I can think of on the fly is if this was an extended chase where stamina was used up completely and the enemy had stuff like the Jhil gloves and OP didn’t, which would allow them to catch up as there’s less downtime from sprinting.
Nah had half stam. We’ve only been on the server for probably 3 weeks and for only a few hours a night and this has happened 3 or 4 times. My bro thought I was just talking out my ass until it happened to him twice.
I’m going to have to assume it’s some kind of exploit considering I have awesome internet. Playing on an American server and the Zerg chasing me was from brazil
On PS5 that’s not needed. You can save footage retroactively. Just click the share button and choose “save the last x minutes”. The game is always being recorded. You just choose if you want to keep it or it gets deleted when you close it.
I have also noticed what appears to be an exploit involving a particular piece of equipment DaVice, which I had best not post here, as it may carry negative repurcussions.
