Is a Elephant not a Elephant? Need Help

Hello,

i have a challenge to kill elephants. I was today with my Thrall on the map Siptha H11 and killed, I thought these are elephants. But maybe I have to go to the bears, then drink several wines and whiskeys and then these are the elephants? On the challenge picture is strangely shown a bear… Translation error?

Can someone tell me, are on H11 maybe not elephants, maybe mammoths.
Does the game make a difference there? Or is the challenge picture correct and i must search for bears?

I find it a shame that the challenges are repetitive, create a healing potion, create a tool (I can build a tool house soon). I have now reached 32 Battle Pass levels and somehow the challenges are getting monotonous and boring. No variety and unimaginative. There are so many different enemies on the map, in the dungeons, or things to collect. Somehow that doesn’t seem properly thought out to me yet.

Kill Elephants, is that correct? Thanks for help.

They have something wrong for sure.

I think the beasts on H11 should be elephants! However the game DOES differentiate between Siptah elephants and the base game elephants, when you take a look inside the admin panel. They are called Antedliuvian Elephants I think.
I guess they didn’t think about that. :face_exhaling:

btw I totally agree

Yeah, Siptah elephants are antidiluvians. It was an issue with making caravan elephants from the DLC as well since no regular elephant calves would spawn.

However, when they added the land in the southern region, they did add some normal elephant spawns as I recall. Try killing some of those.

If you play Siptah go south, it has elephants there! Do know that babies count too! On the tiger mission sabers count too.
Maybe these creatures on north count as mammoths and not elephants and because it has different challenge for mammoths, this may be the reason of separation!
Do know that on exile lands it is way easier to do the challenges, it has map rooms :man_shrugging:.
I won’t mention the single player option, I don’t like the spawn idea! But if you are frustrated, do it, it counts!

I don’t know what exactly ‘kleinholz’ means.
I playing in German too and everytime there ist make kleinholz of something it don’t work.

Next time I want try it with different weapons.
But with my two handed sword it don’t work for stonenose, rhino and bears

Since it’s a rare challenge that needs to be done only once to complete, I wonder if that’s the “completely sunder creature X” challenge? Ie. apply 5 stacks of the Sunder effect on a single creature of the mentioned type. I’ve got that challenge for elephants and rhinos so far.

There’s also a challenge to kill a rhino or mammoth with poison. Not sure if there’s one for elephants.

This is the solution to these kind of challenges.
I really have no idea why they not call it that way.

Die Aufgabe heißt “completly sunder an Elephant”

du musst mit einem Zweihandhammer den Elefanten auf 5 stunnen

@MikaChaos: Vielen herzlichen Dank.

You have to have a full 5 stack of sunder on an elephant/mammoth (or that other arde…adreluvian?? elephant).
And the image is just a group image. For harvesting, you get a picture of a man hitting an iron node. For hunting, you get this bear picture, etc.

Thanks,

the game makers are now quite quick at collecting money, but there is probably no time to describe something sensibly or to provide correct pictures. It’s a pity, especially since it doesn’t take hours to create a series of pictures with an elephant, bear, tiger or lion once you’ve created a main level. I bought the Battlepass Gamepass, however, to support the developers, but I’ll think twice next time when not even such simple content as the challenges is mature.

I believe you nailed it on the head @Kapoteeni, though the translation makes no sense at all. It is either to “completely sunder” an elephant or to kill it via poison (and poison arrows do not count in spite of them being called POISON arrows).
