Personally, it just suxs that one of my all time favorite games is feeling like it’s making a last stand before going away.
First with the new changes to DLC packs(can’t share) and this account binded items nonsenses that Funcom ever told us was coming with the 3.0 update.
Then the extremely expensive cool items at the baazar store. That as a console player I have been waiting years to see and now can’t afford. Funcom wants us to spend over $80.00 dollars to buy crom coins in the first two weeks of introducing this new battle pass and baazar store for “LESS” items (weapons,armor, placeables, and building sets) that only use to cost $10.00 to $20.00 dollars in the previous DLC packs over the years. Also these items will go away with a timer ever to seen again but will come back with a different skin/price. That’s doesn’t make sense.
Are they intentionally trying to destroy any good will that they have left with the community just because they want us to switch to the upcoming Dune game?

If you block loot by paywall in game about looting - it will fire backwards in the future im 100% sure
About bazaar prices… yes they too unbalanced, all DLCs cost me around 50 usd… thousand of items…
but at least bazaar shop didn’t affect core game mechanics, we can totally ignore it 
Tbh I’m surprised anyone is buying anything from the store or even getting the battle pass. The lack of communication and bug fixes is enough for me to say no thanks.
They’re definitely not intentionally trying to kill anything. It would be a ludicrous statement at any time, doubly so when they just put out a massive update.
I don’t like the Bazaar prices either, and I believe they’re making a mistake with it - though sales numbers will tell, I suppose.

I’ve seen alot of games… that target complusive buyers. Raid legends are one of those kinds of games, and then there are other that offer a pay to win feature. This is mostly pay for cosmetic… En Massee Tera did the exact same thing. It is now no longer accessible to PC and fixed only to console because the community dropped that drastically also a game owned and developed by a Korean company.
Here we have Conan Exiles Funcom owned by Tencent a Japanese conglomerate. I haven’t played any of funcoms games already released.
I’ll be honest. I don’t blame them for making a cosmetic store. Elder Scrolls Online has one also and I’ll admit to spending money on it because I had it to spend on something.
I don’t think the release of this is going to be that big of a deal. but there is one thing that I caught notice of and that was on the vod when they were at the twitchcon. They said they needed to make this bazaar if they are going to continue to work on releasing any more free content.
For me that is the line, of the end result. I think we may only be on the cusp of progressive change and it’s only going to get worse before it actually gets better. Only time will tell. The online service can possibly die away depending on how things work. I think we are a ways from that still. It looks like a possibiliity though.
If the online service goes down, how will coop and private servers still work?
Man i’m glad we have another topic on the bazaar created. Its been almost a couple hours since the last one!
Get over it. Its a cosmetic store. If you feel its too expensive, move along and don’t worry about it and keep playing the game. Or if expensive optional cosmetics rage you that much, find a different game.
Cosmetic stores killing the game is absurd.
They can always choose to change the looting system in the future… I also think filtering loot according to what you own is a bad thing.
But honestly these last 2 weeks have been frikken amazing. Ive completely lost myself in Conan after not playing for like 2 years. Total resurgence.
Same. I am actually enjoying the game again, now that I have found my balance with the new perk system. The only disturbing thing is cutting peoples throats on the sacrificial altar, it bothers me, lol.
Off topic a little but has anyone noticed longer respawn times( after death) since yesterdays patch? I was leveling for an hour and died a few times and the amount of time it to respawn was just crazy long every time.
Everyone I know is having the complete opposite experience. Must be nice

Seriously a optional cash shop in whatever form shouldn’t be a game killer for anyone.
I get it you get less compared to the old DLCs but the old DLCs didn’t cut the cost so it had to be changed (as they already explained).
I understand you may feel like this is unfair but… all that complaining about the shop and the batlle pass… do we really intend to forget the free updates we all get over some optional BP and shop?
I simply can’t understand why so many players are so ungrateful.
I’m not trying to defend Funcom, but as I see it they do a fair job.
It can be if said cash shop performing well is what makes the game worth keeping alive for the company, where a poorly put-together one might underperform badly and thus “kill the game” by making it unprofitable.
Funny enough, I’ve been wondering myself if I could still run my server once they’ve decided to sunset their online services.
Yeah, I would say raise the prizes a little bit more on the bazaar. I earn so much money it’s actually cheap.
So I can show off how much money I have when I run around in my Acheronian Legate armor!
Previously nobody said anything about meta-impersonating a Legate. I might actually buy in now.
Really, you must know a lot of seriously depressing people who are purposefully going out of their way to do nothing but sabotage their, and by association, your good time. Because I, and everyone I know, have been loving the game since 3.0 and have had pretty much the same type of experience has @JJDancer and @Smoketreader had both described. Looks like it’s just your rather pesamistic group that are the outliers. 
I’ve spent more time the last two weeks than I have in a while, so on my private server we are having a blast.
Settle down now all I’m saying is there’s a large portion of the community who can’t even play the game.
I bought stuff and, I am not a youtuber. Btw none and, except.
