Is it possible to change the time of day at which the game starts?

Every time I load a single player game it starts at 12:00. Are there settings where I can change this time? (setting the time in the admin panel does not work)
Ideally, the game would start at the time it ended in the last session.

I’ve often wished that as well, but have never found a setting for it. I’ve pretty much got used to it by now, but it does still always seem a bit strange - everything else remains the same between sessions, but the time of day changes. (I guess maybe we could try logging out in the middle of the night, and pretend that our character is just a late riser )

Do you mean you were looking for in the .ini files?

Do you have Use Catch Up Time turned on? Catch up time forces the game to start at noon, so you want this turned off.

If you are still being forced to start at noon even with it turned off, then I guess it is just the fact that logging out of singleplayer is the equivalent of a server restart and there is nothing you can do about it.

I hadn’t gone that deep, but no matter what settings I tried for time or day length in the game menus, nothing changed.

Yeah, I’ve kept catch-up time switched off, but it doesn’t seem to help. Like you say, it seems to be that it gets treated as a server restart.
