A Patron is a subscriber, and yes, you can subscribe to Secret World Legends to this day. You will need to do so logged into the game by clicking on the Patron badge icon on your topbar - it’s the hexagonal bee icon that’s closest to the Menu button on the top left that will tell you your Patron Benefits. Clicking on this button will bring up the Patron window. From there, you can click the “Subscribe” button.
You can also buy the 12-Month Patron Bundle on the standalone client for 12 months of Patronage and some cool exclusive cosmetics, including a suit with a unique silhouette and a segway sprint of your very own called the GLIDR!
As for purchase of a lifetime subscription: You cannot and should not buy other players’ accounts. Lifetime Patronage cannot and never could be purchased for Secret World Legends; a Lifetime Patron is a legacy player who had purchased the Grand Master Pack (Lifetime Membership) for The Secret World and later conducted their Legacy Transfer and had their subscription transferred to Secret World Legends. The Grand Master Pack has not been available since February 2016.

You can still subscribe to Secret World Legends as a Patron for awesome benefits! Click the hex bee icon in-game to subscribe or grab the 12-Month Patron Bundle for perks and exclusive cosmetics like the GLIDR segway. Lifetime memberships aren’t available anymore—they were part of an old The Secret World pack from 2016. Happy gaming!
Also keep in mind that the SWL’s 12-Month Patron Bundle is one-time thing only. You can buy it only once. Not sure if per character or per account.

How do I purchase the 12-Month Patron Bundle? When I click on the Patron icon in-game, it only has the monthly subscription option.
And my account on the Funcom website doesn’t seem to offer any way to purchase the bundle or change my membership.
You purchase the 12-month Patron bundle by clicking on the segway icon on your topbar. It’ll be nearby the Patron badge.
I wish this was not the case, I would much rather pay for a 12 month sub with a discount than pay monthly. Especially when this game has 0 of your money put back into it.

Thanks for the info, all.Unfortunately the patron icon in-game only offers a monthly subsrciption, and I couldn’t find anything on the Funcom website.
I’ve sent a question to Funcom support. Maybe I’ll get lucky and get an answer this year.
You can purchase the 12-Month Patron Bundle in-game by clicking on the ‘segway’ looking icon closest to the Menu button on the top left of your topbar. The hover-info will state 12-Month Patron Bundle should you hover your mouse over this icon. Clicking on this button will bring up a window that also says 12-Month Patron Bundle. From there, you can click the “Purchase” button if you so choose. Clicking “Purchase” will take you out-of-game to select your payment method and confirm payment.
The button for the bundle will only be visible on accounts that have not yet made the one-time purchase of the 12-Month Patron Bundle. If you have already purchased the 12-Month Patron Bundle in the past, you can’t purchase it again.
If you play SWL through Steam, you will not be able to purchase the 12-Month Patron Bundle, as it is currently not available through Steam due to issues with Steam. At this time, you can only purchase the 12-Month Patron Bundle when playing on the standalone Secret World Legends client. This wasn’t always the case, but Steam had problems.
