The problem is definitely on your end. I have been playing on steam just fine and I know people who are using standalone client.
I believe you need some reading time or something like that to unlock permissions on the forums, you should be able to post screenshots of the errors though, that would be a good first step in troubleshooting.
There are a few broken links, but the game is still up and running. For Steam, the only thing that fails is the EULA itself. If you “blindly” accept it, it’ll proceed.
For the standalone client, the download link right at the top of the SWL website works just fine.
While opening the client download link in a new tab works for some of the broken client download links, it won’t work for the one under Account Services. It will hopefully be fixed, but there’s still the homepage download link you can use.
As for the Steam EULA error, you can click okay and it’ll keep going. Steam’s looking for EULAs uploaded to Steam. Everyone playing SWL through Steam received that warning not too long ago when Steam made the EULA view changes, but it’s nothing to worry about even though it is a bit spooky to see.

Thank you for the update. I can confirm that the download link from the account page is not working. We will ask our developers to fix this as soon as possible.
In the meantime, the workaround Vomher mentioned above does work. You can use the “Download” link at the top of this page: https://www.secretworldlegends.com/
