As it would seem, on the single player of the Conan Exiles game for the PS4 once you get to a castle of a pictular size it just vanishes.
Is there a way to get it back?
@Keyotoma . Sorry to hear you lost your castle. There is no way to get your build back. If you are playing offline you can make a the manual save to a thumb drive at various times and if something goes wrong reload it. Did you check the event log? If playing on a server is it possible you let the decay timer run out and it dissolved. Size on a server should not matter as far as your build disappearing. Offline the PS4 sometimes can’t handle it or thier was a corrupt save. Unfortunately either way you will have to start again. You have the opportunity to build bigger and better. Alot of us have started over intentionally.
Thank you, I figured as much. It was a fairly epic build covering a mountain top. I heard that the PS4 has an undefined build limit, and if you get too big… it will just disappear at some point. Which seems to be the case for this one. Truly disappointing for me, a couple weeks of my time and planning… gone. I wish I had more than just memories of it, and I am afraid if I do the project over it will just happen again.
