Made sure i kept ignore stability loss when i logged on and the abandonment was turned off as well. I restarted conan because it was acting funny when i was building so i relogged and than it deleted everything. Right after i had a ps bug report. I lost soooooooo mucchhh :(( soo much man…i dont wanna play unless i can get this back. Im beyond hurt. Any ideas on how to get or bring back to previous date?
Hi @Storme369 and welcome to the community!
Not sure if I will be able to help you as I have not experienced stability issues specifically myself in the past. However, depending on how you play, there may yet be a means to get back what you had without tooo much fuss using Admin rights.
But first I need to ask you some questions to determine what options if any we have on the table. So Storme369 tell me how you play. For example, the thread title says Single Player. Just checking, do you play in Singleplayer mode? Or do you mean you play as an Online Solo Player, and if so, are you on an Official Server, a Privately Admined server? I will await your reply and advise you accordingly based on what you tell me.
Was your original build large? Was just thinking if it was, it may of been slow to load in everything. Not to mention, no stability loss has to be manually switched on every time you load in
My suggestion would be to always backup your save to the psn cloud or what i personally prefer to do is use a usb stick especially if you’re playing local single player mode incase conan exiles decides to wipe my offline local save data.
No idea about online coop or just online mode in general.
you can use admin mode to build without custs and spawn the stuff you lost, as it is in single player.
I’ve lost 3 bases to stability issues in the last 2 weeks on an official server.
So i am just on single player with the coop activated.
So everytime i logg i make sure stability loss is marked and that the building decay timer is off. I logged to menu because it was acting buggy than back to single player coop and when reloading my event log says everything stability loss
Also lol of course i was building in admin mode as you stated because i was in single player you can do that an load and behold still deleted. An " yOu CAn just sPaWN thE StuFf you lose" i lost a month of building of course i could rebuild the stuff i lost point is i dont wanna i want it back.
Then try a zendesk bug report and good luck. Lol
Wow thanks for the sorry gerenic answers. If that was all it took dont think id be posting on here thanks champ!
PlayStation version lacks the optimisation update that Xbox received a couple of years ago, so it’s a little iffy with builds on single player which use the console as the server. With large builds, it can take a while for the assets to load in on single player (and they load in in a specific order). Combined with the issue that with having to manually check the stability box every time you load a new session, you may have problems.
Ok gotcha. And I am sorry to hear of your ill fortune. I am affraid there is no way to make what was lost reappear, unless you have an older version backed up on the cloud feature on PS Plus. If you do not, then the best, but not the absolutely perfect way forward would be this. Turn on Creative Mode, and you will have access to all possible building pieces and placeables, and rebuild what you have lost. Everyrhing you could need will be there in the construction hammer menu. I do not see it as cheating as you have already earned those things honestly, you are correcting a bug. And if you do proceed, then I strongly urge you to ensure you back up your save game data periodically either on a usb, or on the PS Plus cloud feature, especially of you play on ps4. I made the transition from ps4 to ps5, and I still back-up my save data every other day/week. I know the situation blows, but the game has outgrown the ps4. Even ps5 is not amazing, but ps4 is really struggling nowadays. And as @Lucidique has pointed out, we Playstation folks have not had an optimization update like Xbox has.
Okay i appreciate it. Looks like just backing up is the way to go. I was in “god mode” building for over a month which is kinda why i came here thought i was safe from conan shananigans being in admin mode.
Yes definately back up every other day or week @Storme369, I know I still do periodically on ps5. If I did not there would have been 2 occasions in which I would have lost my save game data, and the entirety of my progress since launch. Fortunately @Barnes was able to assist me in identifying the problem and salvaging it. I am also sure to do a backup before a new Chapter, or in this case Age launches. While I always hope for the best, there is nothing wrong with taking precautions should the worst case scenario come to pass.
You were building for hours and you haven’t noticed the time that passed!
That’s why!
Unfortunately on our console we have a ram issue with this game, so you’re not only loosing your day progress but the game deletes feat progress that’s no way (that i am aware of) to restore in the particular character.
I explain my experience here…

So the only workaround i have to give you is play with a maximum 2h timer, then log out really slowly, close the game correctly, and restart your console to continue playing!
Give time to your machine ram to pass the info to your hard drive correctly, or doom unfortunately .
I am really sorry my dearest exile you had to go through this and thanks a million for reporting your issue!
It’s really lovely to have you around.
Ps. Play as you wish, gaming should be “happy hour”. Feel no remorse about how you enjoy to play a game, you do nothing wrong. The master builders of this game build mostly on creative mode.
If it wasn’t “creative” it wouldn’t had this name. So feel free to be creative and have fun .
Unfortunately, its gone. This has been a game breaking issue they have ignored for a very long time. Theres been tons of reports submitted since before age of sorcery. Either they have no intention on fixing it, or they are incompetent. I quit playing this game over a year ago because of this. About a week ago, i decided to give it another try because it had to be fixed by now right? Dead wrong, in fact its gotten even worse. In the past week, not only have i lost 3 seperate bases i recently built. Also my journey progress has reset itself multiple times. The game freezes randomly, causing you to have to force close the app, but when you log back in it will put you in a rolled back save from several hours before, and not only is all the progress lost, but your inventory will be empty, some of your placeables will lose ownership, random boxes and your thralls inventories will be emptied as well. Then theres also the frequent problem of the game freezing while attempting to log off, which also causes you to force close the game and starts the cycle all over again. This game has alot of potential, but it pointless to play it if you have to start over all the time. If i wanted that experience, id play Rust, lol
