I don’t mean monsterous sound clips or vocals or anything just some maybe no words music singer thralls.
I wouldn’t mind musician thralls, they would only play music when in the vicinity much like how dancers provide the entertained status and corruption removal. I’ve seen people asking for new music, so for those who want it this would be a good option. For those who don’t like the music, don’t get the musician thrall. What do you think?
Fair I guess, but we could just try to win them over with good music.
Maybe the type of music changes depending on which faction the musician is? (Nordheimer, Defari etc.) So many possibilities.
They could be a “Bard and Skalds” update, even a DLC. Not the usual cosmetic ones, but a mechanical one. That adds gameplay. What the game needs.
Bring more Conan into my Conan.
And how about NPC factions spawning regular attacks on players (can be toggled off and on in server options) ?
I would probably pay for that DLC honestly. New thrall types plus outfits to dress them in, which are bard specific.
You could add so much to custom role-playing and building, taverns, camps and stages or social events in your base. Packing some instrumental tracks in and adding NPCs with lute, mandolin, harp or blowpipe or pipe or drums, depending on the culture.
they could even scatter new music melodies as songs around the maps as they do now with languages and letters!
Now, this idea is great!
YES, yes, PLease!
I love this idea. I suggest something like this here:
Maybe they could be only thralls like the one in benches not the fighting ones. Like the entertainers are now.
Also it would be nice if I can place thralls on chairs…
I like this suggestion a lot, as it could cut down on scattered thralls around the base as well as not contribute to total thrall count. Let’s say you can craft a special chair that has a crafter thrall spot where you slot in the musicians in?
One of the most popular elements of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag was the Sea Shanties (which had to be collected by finding them around the map) - this suggestion could well be similarly popular for CE if done well - like the emotes (and the languages) there’s an in game ‘reward’ for going out and finding these things, but no power benefit/loss for those that worry about that.
It wouldn’t be the first time they’ve done that - Riders of Hyboria was the dlc accompaniment to the Horses update for the base game - so it’s certainly something that could be possible
