I started a new single player session with the update, but I’ve been holding off on collecting thralls until this vanishing thrall business has been dealt with. Problem is I think stuff in my inventory has started to disappear.
I first noticed this yesterday. Came back from gathering resources and I know I had a small stack of bark in my inventory, but when I went to place it in the tannery, it was gone. “Oh, I must have accidentally added it to what was in the drier.” I thought. No big deal. It was only like a hundred bark anyway.
But then today, I came back to my base and started cleaning loot out my inventory when I noticed that the burlap bags I’d gotten from a few sorcerers were no longer there. I usually keep some of each bag in my inventory once I learn sorcery, so I was just holding on to them. Did I accidentally put them in some crafting station or storage container maybe? No, doesn’t seem like it. Checked everything I got, they’re nowhere to be found.
“Well that’s weird. Coulda sworn I had picked up a few.” But again, no big deal since I’m not very far into sorcery just yet. Still had the cloth bags I got earlier too.
Except I came back again later after a trip that resulted in getting a leather bag from a sorcerer and sure enough, the cloth bags were gone.
“Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action.”
So, has anyone else noticed anything strange like that happening since the update? If I ended up having to remake some harvesting tools or weapons or something, that would be one thing. But since it’s only been a few resources a handful of times for me so far, I’m not entirely sure just yet if it’s really a bug or if I’m just going crazy.
