Just finished the new dungeon, my first time

It was really easy after watching Wak’s walk thru and exactly how he described it and the steps. Had no bugs at all, but my thrall killed the sorcs so fast I didnt have time to get much golum loot.

Two questions, is the robe the only armor and also what to do with the head?

First two rounds were cake, but the second sorcerer never spawned in for me.

As for the head, should be a merchant at the spire that you can redeem it to for a reward. One of the two directly behind Mek Kamoses sacrificial altar.

Merchants are not working atm… :frowning: Funcom is aware of the bug.

They are, just selectively. Some say relogging helps. I find spam clicking will eventually force it through.

I tried spam clicking, it doesnt work for me. Been trying to buy a camel for two days now.

The head can be sold to one of the merchants, if one is so inclined.

Or you can store it in your fridge, like a normal person would do.

Why would you do that. Just play it blind and have a better first experience. :open_mouth:

I took a night vision potion on my first try… at the third sorcerer… I wasnt able to see anything… So I died  It was a true, blind first try :stuck_out_tongue:

My wizards bugged, all of then, they took so much time to show up that there were my clanmate and me vs the dragon until the ritual ended and the blood demon with the dragon killed our companions…even the spiders didn’t attack us, we had to go to kill then

How would I have ever known about destroying the obelisks? Dying is not what I call a great experience, sorry.

It was a bit disappointing though, I was hoping for a full set of armor and got a robe.

Are you talking about Kurak’s Vestments? You can craft them yourself if you’ve learned the recipe.

I only saw the robe in my armory bench, maybe I didnt look hard enough.

Would love to try the dungeon, but until it’s patched, I can’t rationalize doing it. I don’t need to get stuck in it.

You won’t get stuck. Just pull your bracelet and wake up in bed, you won’t drop anything. It’ll say your followers stopped following but they appear back with you as well.

Edit: from my runs or attempted runs, if there are more than 10 people on the server, I won’t get past the second wave. But that’s the blood crystal wave at least.

Can confirm have died multiple times in dungeon, over 3 different accounts. Death just places you back at your bed or bedroll, full gear, full inventory, fun testing ground for new builds. little to no risk and great dynamic to power level thralls to level 20 in one go. Although I see people talking about taking there horse inside, pretty sure risk of losing a horse is UBER high, so wouldn’t advise. (horses still too squishy).

@jmk1999 Take the plunge do the dungeon, but make sure you bring a torch, I tried night vision and was crap, one handed weapon, and a torch and last death was only 1 stack of healing potions, also lots of zombies, would suggest good armor, tried medium armor, was death by thousand zombie scratches…

I did a new build with no Grit, no Authority, big mistake,

Couldn’t keep the low level mobs of me long enough to heal. Its not a difficult dungeon, just gotta watch your stamina, and need some points in authority to give you a little breathing room, unless you are MEGA build then just kill every sorcerer. BOOM-BOOM-Done!

@Tuffman @Damon hmm… so as long as you remove bracelet, you don’t drop anything in the dungeon and your thrall returns? Still a bit apprehensive since I got a lot of rare legendaries on me, plus some stuff I brought from siptah. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:maybe I might try it with a thrall I care less about and leave my rare and irreplaceable stuff at home. Can you go in with other players from other clans? I was gonna ask @Coyote0903 and some others if they wanna try. Also, I’m assuming only one drop (head, etc) from the boss?

Even if you die legit, you show up at your bed with all your gear, i thought it was my game settings, but showing up at your bed with your gear and thralls is default dungeon behaviour. I tried and died on 3 separate solo games over three accounts.

Sorry I do not have any online experience since Christmas 2022.

Not sure what’s to patch, it seems as if it is working as intended. The problem is apparently latency on the lower end devices that is causing the “issue”. Watch Waks walk thru and you will know exactly what to do. I brought one of my best thralls and he smoked the sorcerers. Also, I just ignored the zombies, and ran around and shot the pillars with explosive arrows. Make sure your thrall has a high pen weapon, preferably a mace.

Yeah, I always have a mace on my thrall. However, I heard don’t have shield for them so as to avoid any hiccups in their behavior. I usually have a shield on them, but I might try going without.

Yes, no shield, as they tend to stop fighting and try to block, which can be annoying. I usually give all of my thralls epic two handers, but the sorcs are armored, so the mace works better IMO.
