Lack of standard building pieces across all content.

Is it asking to much for the building sets to contain a standardized, matching set if pieces? I mean, foundations if both square and triangle, walls, columns, vault ceilings for square and triangles and such, it doesn’t seem like it would be a big ask or a big add IMHO. Instead it’s all a bit if a jumbled mess. If you know, you know.

I understand what you mean I found it a little strange that there was no triangles for pyramids, also being able to fit roofs to triangles would also be great, I can do it but it does not look right.
For instance when adding a triangle foundation or ceiling to a squareish build there is no way for me to add a roof to reflect this and end up with a nice roof with a triangle ceiling as I am unable to add any roof to this.

I’ve got to be missing something here, not saying some sets aren’t missing pieces but not the base ones. I mean like arched ceilings. Although I think the fence foundation is missing from a set or two.

There are triangle foundation and ceiling tiles, that is why I wonder what you mean.
There is a pyramid building set. But the pieces have been kept limited so they all play well together; till we got the bazaar add ons.

I would suggest finding and watch a few building tutorials.

Yep, it’s been slipshot for awhile.
Arena added arched ceilings, but at the cost of fence foundations and roofs of any variety.

Stable has no sloped walls, no wall caps, no stairs, no roofs.
Two types of walls, but only one type of door and frame.

Once we go to the Bazaar, it becomes a complete random grab bag.
The sandstone enhancement ignores most wedge pieces… despite what, 3 waves of release?

Aesir is missing several roof pieces, as well as fence foundations.
But it’s detached arch system is very nice

Turanian tent is almost embarrassingly incomplete, with an extremely limited number of roof pieces, lacking any roof tops or interior corners. Flotsam makes for better tents than this set, which is just tragic.

Lost Dungeon is a giant pile of what the cluck. Even with it’s refinements, it has some truly bizarre pieces that are inexplicable, “walls” that are foundation sized, “ceilings” the same. It follows the trend of arch ceilings only being outside corners, no wedges, no fence foundations, and no Roofs. The curved walls lack a proper curved foundation, and are thus a supreme pain to place and difficult to not give a janky transition from square base to curved wall (a problem common to Aesir and Turanian Expansion as well).

So yes, it seems that it is asking too much.
While this one finds it a reasonable ask, this one is constantly reminded that this one is a silly goose with unrealistic expectations.

This one would forgive the loss of wedges in sets that have curved walls and ceilings, if they also had matching curved foundations or fence foundation pieces.
The general lack of fence foundations makes many builds jank from the start, seeing how walls sit on the outer portion of foundations, requiring pillar and ceiling tricks to dejankify.

This is the sort of thing I was referring to for myself, builds such as this where there are no such triangle roof pieces such as a roof cap, as trying to make a complete roof for this does not look pleasing to the eye.

Whilst this is an example, there are quite a few times on pvp where to make the build small or blend in it requires some odd building placements that I would not place in pve.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am always looking for ways to confound the raiders

This is also another example whilst I can make the roof it is not at the same level as the square roof caps, and using the square roofcaps upon triangle ceilings creates an eyesore
