so on my official server, there are people being racist all the time, and another clan who have buildings everywere and huge, yet after countless reports with proof nothing has happened, and today a ally clan of ours who got raided and had no base left got banned for land claim… they had one base and building at sinkhole, tinym and they get banned, yet people we have reported with proof , video and evidence are still playing… can anyone explain the though process behind the banning system? thank you

Racism is covered under ToC:
Offensive, discriminatory, and defamatory chat and user-created content of racial, sexual, hateful, illicit, or of other nature. This extends to character names, guild names, in-game signs, and so on.
Now, in order to make a report about these situations, you have to provide adequate proof. Meaning, screenshots or recordings of the offensive remarks, Funcom IDs and including dates and times are helpful. Since Funcom claims to review chat logs, this will help them to pinpoint the information to verify it.
Having big bases or many isn’t necessarily a reason for a devwipe. Unless it is breaking ToC, like blocking pathways, full quadrants, etc.,. and all have a purpose, why would they need to be devwiped?
But they still had a base. While I don’t ascribe to the idea that Funcom is fair, and will never make excuses for them, let’s try to be fair here. Did that ally clan do anything else that would warrant a suspension or ban and a devwipe? Even though the reason is “land claim”, sometimes those “reasons” are a blanket for many other problems too. Like skybases or undermeshes, as an example.
Now you say “countless” reports. What is “countless”? 5, 10? Mass reporting?
I agree that the racism needs to be address but that requires proper reporting. I don’t agree that many or big bases require anything and more than likely the 2 problems are that the reports are not done properly and are being ignored and for the “land claim” that you’re complaining about is actually not the problem you’re making it out to be.
Having paid attention to this issue for going on 2 years now I consider myself to be fairly educated on the data available and I’m a staunch critic of the ToC and reporting processes. So please don’t take my comments as snarky or rude.
