Some people on the official server I have recently been playing on have been talking about players from the official server that will be merging into ours claiming they plan to report everyone’s bases when the merger happens to destroy all their stuff and take everything they own.
Is this sort of behavior being at all monitored by funcom at all or is this sort of thing just being allowed to happen? Does funcom look into the claims in any way or do they just delete a base if enough people report it?
I would appreciate a response from funcom about this as it seems to be a rather serious and very much abused thing in the game right now.
Everyone can report everything. It is Funcom who decides what stays and what goes though.

You should have definitely taken screen shots of those comments as well as the screenshots of the players ids in the player list who made those threats. That is egregious conduct to false report a merging player for something out of their control.
Edit: i should also ask which server play type is your server?
Unfortunately I was not a part of the conversation where these threats took place. This apparently happened on a Siptah server where some of the people from my current Exiled Lands were playing and they had their base reported and deleted by these people and were also hit with a 2 week ban even though they were supposedly not breaking any rules.
This is a PvE server and the Siptah server was also PvE.
I’m just curious if funcom actually looks into the reports or if enough people report a base or clan they just jump on and delete everything no questions asked.

Concerning Funcom looking into the reports, i can not speak for other players reports, only my own reports which are few. I’ve had one detailed report where only 2 of the clans builds were clearing land claim spam but their bases were fine. I made sure to write this out fully in my report, that the large staircases were offending and i asked the admin to not ban the clan or wipe their bases. This was actually followed! The administrator deleted the clans large staircases and keft the clans base and did not ban them.
However, i also reported a clan for building a foundation platform on the south end of the Pools on Siptah that ran the entirety of the west side of the Pools and interrupted elephant spawns. This report took over a month and no response. Eventually, the build entered decay state and i was able to demolish it myself. I then sent a follow up email in the Zendesk report to explain that the offending structure was gone and i never received a closed ticket notification.
So, i am sorry friend, i can only say that providing as much evidence and details as possible can only help you in filing a Zendesk report stating that certain players have made it clear that they intend to file false reports and hope that Funcom gets your information before the offending players file fake reports. It’s extremely difficult sometimes to be the good guy, and unfortunately much easier to be the villain.
