Bug Description:

Land Claim Radius Slider Broken

Bug Reproduction:

Open Settings, Make Admin, Select Harvesting, Slider is Grayed Out. Open ServerSettings.Ini, change LandClaimRadiusMultiplier, Run Conan Exiles, Exit Conan Exiles, Open ServerSettings.Ini. LandClaimRadiusMultiplier has been reset to 1.0.

After making yourself Admin did you return to the game then go back into settings, or did you try to change the settings straight away.

I’ve seen this problem posted here, and on Steam, on numerous occasions. It is not what I would call a bug. It’s just not a user friendly system. The system is set up on the assumption that when you sign in as ‘Admin’, all users know you need to return to the game, and then go back into ‘Settings’ to make changes.

Logic would dictate that a ‘pop up’ should appear telling the user that after obtaining ‘Admin Authority’, they need to return to the game, then go back into settings to be able to make changes.

If you turn off the LS feature, you are told to “restart the server for the changes to take affect”, so why not something similar for general “Admin” game settings.

What are your thoughts @Kikigirl.

If memory serves I believe some settings do indicate this. I’m not very experienced in setting changes except for PVP.

But I agree that there should be warnings, descriptions and instructions where applicable.
