Launcher Starts, Game Don't!

Bug Description:

Just bought the game and installed it. Start Launcher, works. Press Start Game and wait… wait… 5 min. 10. min. Nothing. The Launcher is still open but nothing else Happens. The Task Manager shows that the game is running but nope. when i try to close the game trough Steam it means shutting down but… even that didnt happen. i have to close it trough the Task manager.

Bug Reproduction:

I dont know what i did to cause it but i can tell what i did to try to fix it. i got to steam and checked the files, verifying them or so. i Restart my PC, i tried to start the game without the launcher trough the exe file. I checked my external HDD for Defrag (3%) i moved the files from my External (E:) to my internal (D:). i tried everything i could find online nothing helps. While i wait for an answer i try to move the Files to my internal SSD (C:). And YES my PC has the Specs to run the Game!

Thank you for reporting your situation regarding the launcher not starting the game properly.

In order to attempt to solve your issue, I suggest you take a look at our Common Technical Issues and solutions., which many solutions, including for your launcher issue.

Alternatively, you can also attempt to run the game directly from the conanexiles.exe, to see if it works.

Like i already wrote, i try’d to run it directly from the conanexiles.exe. And all tip’s from the link didn’t help either.

But i solved it!
After moving it from my external to my internal (D:) and trying to verifying it again, nothing. after that i did room on my internal (C:) and moved the files from (D:) - (C:) and tried to verifying it again and wonder what happend? Right! i found 8 broken files! don’t know why i found it first when i moved it to my (C:) but so it is.
no i’m at least able to start the game. Haven’t tried to connect to a server yet but… yeah… should work now.
