Is this like… Bugged or something? Why am I learning Skelos Master Cultist Armor knowledge in the big Darfari temple area in the beginner zones whilst to learn the baby beginner skelos cultist armor knowledge you have to venture into the walled city to get fragments of power??? Why is this a thing?
This makes no sense. Funcom can you just like swap these recipes? I wanna be a cool skelos cultist as I’m learning Sorcery (which also needs a looking at) and then when I am a sweet master magician I can go to the walled city and learn the recipe there.
As far as I remember, you still cannot craft this outfit up to level 60, even though you have unlocked the recipe.
And Skelos’s simple outfit is not worthy of attention at all, they are just rags with zero protection.
I think you actually can craft it, because the medium armor padding can be lootet.
Before, if you hadn’t unlocked the armor padding, you couldn’t craft it. So you needed quite a lot of knowledge points to craft it.
I think I was able to craft it the moment I had access to the right armor bench, since all the materials I was able to loot.
Yes, it sometimes drops from three-skull bosses.
But to defeat the three-skull boss, the player must become a powerful warrior who has mastered something in the game.
In my opinion, a player at this level is quite worthy of getting this armor.
As for Skelos’s regular outfit, it’s only worthy of disassembling for cooled ashes.
yeah, no doubt…although stone daggers seem to be enough for some experienced players.
On Siptah you can get the padding consistantly from normal chests, with other high level mats, like star metal bars. Totally broken, but FUNCOM seems to not care.
The experience of these players is paid for with thousands and thowsands of hours of play.
As for Siptah, I don’t remember exactly, I haven’t played on this map for two years, but if the situation is as you describe, then I agree with you, this is too much.
Yeah as soon as you get an armorer’s bench up and have grabbed the recipe from the darfari temple area, you are able to make it assuming you have the high end mats (raw ash, layered silk might be easier to obtain) to make it.
It makes no sense to have end-game armor unlocks in a beginner area and the beginner armor being unlocked at near end-game. Lol
You know something’s wrong when it’s easier to just kill sorcerers for their clothes, repair it with crappy armor repair kits and illusion-graft it to your other armor. I agree, I think the recipes need to be swapped, and the raw ash for regular cultist armor needs to be removed.
basically the whole loottable of everysingle npc needs to be readjusted. Even certain chests contain absurd mats.
A few example:
trophies and taxidermised animals from humans…
If you can get them from random NPCs, there is no incentive to learn the recipes.
as mentioned already before, high level armor padding and rare mats from bosses. This completely trivialises the economy behind manufacturing the high end gear.
Improved dismanteling bench basically substitutes “all” mats farming, imho. Especially the fact that you get Black Blood from all the Sorcery texts, even the blank ones. No need to find and kill the mutant birds in the mountains.
List goes on, but I think you all get the gist. Loot rework, something nobody asked for, completely screwed with the “survival” part of this game. Why go anywhere, when all you need is in the chests in Sepermeru.
