Level cap has been 60 for, how long? With everything added to the game I can level to cap with out trying, not even breaking a sweat. You can actually hit level cap just doing the journey steps.
Isn’t about time to raise level cap?

Not for vanilla thanks, and modded is already handled.
Why not?
I mean I have 40 good reason to do it
But why not?
Just my own opinion - I like the balance with current attribute point allocation at 60. It makes me choose - there are downsides to my choices, I like that. Vanilla is easy enough as it is, it’s a cakewalk (especially with the ridiculous amount of top-tier loot we get instead of actually crafting armour etc) doesn’t need to get any easier by also giving us more attribute points to spend. And we can grind to max out knowledge already so nothing else needed there. So there’s zero need for extra levels in vanilla in my view. I only personally like “level to 120 or 300” or whatever if there’s additional harder endgame content from mods that makes it necessary.
I’d also prefer higher levels, but without it affecting attribute points. That way, you can actually see your progress.
I could accept 70 attribute points. Not enough to max out a fourth attribute, so encouraging more playstyles with the extra points.
80 or above, no, that just makes everyone duplicates of each other. If they added an S back onto SAVAGE(S), then maybe, but not with only six attributes.
I would be completely fine with allowing higher levels without giving anymore attribute points. Since we have infinite knowledge points with Fragments of Power, I wouldn’t care either way if higher levels kept giving knowledge points or not.
For what? More attribute points? That would also entail new HP, Att, Def values for all mobs. Balance is already fragile.
No thanks
i am up for the new level cap
I’m good with that.
I’d like to see the unlockables spread out more. Maybe spread that 70 attribute points out across more levels.
Like I said there has been so much added to the game it seems time to bump up level cap.
I personally would rather see more perks choices and slower leveling, and perk choices for corruption, alot of cool things could be had. Wouldn’t mind more perks tiers either, level cap increase would be to much… they could do something like add per tiers without increasing stats per level maybe? Just brain storming but as someone who pvps dont want the power ceiling to far off the floor
Why 100? Why not 1000. Or maybe a million! /s
Seriously. Why can no one ever just play to play. They always need a reason to play, a path to follow. ![]()
The game’s already easy enough by the time you get to level 60 and get decent gear. As it is I tend to wander around in medium armour, with 15 pts in Expertise even when I’m going boss fighting. I very rarely bother respeccing to a proper ‘combat build’. (Obviously, If I was doing PVP, I’d be more careful with my build, but for just doing the normal game stuff, there’s really no need for more points.) Levelling up beyond 60 wouldn’t satisfy the ‘need something to do’ mentality anyway - because they’d just hit 100 and have the same problem. Put that focus into levelling followers instead (and gathering fragments of power and legendary gear etc) - then you’ve got almost unlimited ‘progression’ available to you…
I’ve wanted this for a while. I’m not asking for extra attribute points or additional power — just a way to distinguish newer players from people who’ve spent a long time on a server.
Right now, reaching level 60 feels too easy. Some players can do it within a few hours, which means there isn’t much long-term progression after hitting max level.
My idea:
Legend Levels
After reaching level 60, you unlock Legend progression
Every 7,200,000 XP (roughly the amount needed to reach level 60) grants 1 Legend Level
Legend Levels would not provide extra attributes, feats, or combat advantages
Instead, they would exist as a prestige system and long-term progression goal
Possible rewards:
Special titles
Unique banners or profile icons
Emotes
Armor dyes or cosmetics
Weapon skins
Server badges
Milestone rewards every few levels (10, 25, 50, 75, 100)
Example:
Legend 10 → Title
Legend 25 → Cosmetic armor set piece
Legend 50 → Unique weapon skin
Legend 100 → Exclusive Conan-themed armor/weapons or a “True Legend” title
Legend Level could be capped at 100, meaning you’d effectively have to “reach level 60” a hundred times over.
On paper that sounds huge, but for players spending their days farming, building, fighting, and grinding mobs, it becomes a passive long-term goal rather than a power grind.
I think it would give completionists, trophy hunters, and long-time players something meaningful to work toward without creating a gap between veterans and newer players.
Because leveling is far too fast and too easy now. I’m at level cap and have barely scratched the surface of the game. Most of my builds are still T1 because just getting things set up to manufacture T3 components put me at level cap. All I have done is the journey steps, not even all the T3s. The Dreggs and the witch queen are the dungeons I have done, oh ya tower of the bat; but I don’t consider that a dungeon.
I don’t need more knowledge points because I have leveled faster then I’ve needed to use them. 100 is just a nice round number, could be 80, and stretch it out. I’m not asking for more skill points, just make it take longer to earn them. Knowledge points can easily got in game so adding more though leveling will have negligible effect on the game.
Now you’re done leveling and can focus on playing the game. Freed from the false carrot that is “Character Level”.
…honestly don’t even know why Exiles and Dune have levels. Completely unnecessary.
As I said earlier - those that really ‘need’ that feeling of ‘progression’ from levelling can get the same thing by levelling followers. That can give the exact same sense of ‘moving forward’.
When you put it that way, I’m good with it. My assumption when people say they want more levels is that they want to max out or at least increase attribute points. If it we’re talking “make the levelling progress more meaningful and longer without increasing overall power in the vanilla game” I’m good with that. But we have settings for that - reduce the XP gain and you stretch out levelling for PVE. For PVP servers, increase XP gain and you’re PVPing quicker. The thing that makes it all meaningless is the stupid levels of loot and types of loot (looking at you, weapon handles, perfect heavy paddings, etc) we get from general gameplay.
I saw several people saying more levels please but don’t increase attribute points. Is this what you guys mean? “Just give me the same 60 attribute points but stretch it out over 100 or 120 levels or more?” Little or no power gain?
I still think we could get all of this if official servers were just set up in a variety of ways. Set some up with a couple of mods on them (level 120? 300?). Set others up with different XP settings, different thrall settings, XP gain, harvesting, etc etc. Make some PVP servers with lower building HP or damage taken and others with higher. Make some PVP with monthly or weekly wipes and no transfers. See where people gravitate to. All the tools are already there for official PC servers and a lot are there for console (just not the mods). They’re just not being used. We just have cookie cutter servers where the only difference is the region & latency.
Leveling up is a REACTION, not an ACTION. First you add new content, and then you decide if leveling up is necessary to match the difficulty of the new content.
Doing it the other way around makes no sense at all.
Yes because there has been nothing new added since the level cap has been 60 ![]()
