is there any way one can not use a pay for server? i play enshrouded with my friend it it saves to our pc and we can just keep playing with just the two of us without needing to buy a silly server. The two player version just tethers the other person to the host and is just silly

If you’re on PC and your hardware is good enough, you could use the Dedicated Server Launcher to run the server on your machine.
