For context: I have been playing Conan exiles since early access. I played Conan thousands of hours. I got every dlc and many items from the Bazaar. I love the lore and I love the potentianl in this game and love how it is evolving right now with Sorcery and War. I am a loyal player I would say.
Just bought the Lost Dungeon in the Bazaar. Huge dissapointment! It only contains cubes the size of fundations. Walls, roofs, doorways, windows are all cubes. This is a totaly new build system that was not explained to the buyer (me). In the bazaar it says âwallsâ and âroofsâ and âwindowsâ. Not âeverything are cubesâ. I feel like you conned me.
Maybe it is a bug. I hope this is a bug. BUT, if it is a bug it is⊠come on guys!!! This is not a small error, this is not close to be shipped. It is not close to follow current building design and mechanics. How could it even get to the Bazaar if it is a bug? This building set is overprized anyway but since I like building I choose to try it in spite of that. And I got this fake product sold in false premise.
If the Bazaar is your way of maning money then the quality has to be impeccable. And follow the current design and mechanics. This is unacceptalbe low quality. Shame!
Regardless if it is a fraudulent product or if it is a bug it is so bad it made me very, very annoyed. The difference is that one of the scenarios can be seen as a fraud (that would be illegal) and the other an act of incompetece (a mistake that big is to big to be called a mistake).
Regardless, I am super negative to the Bazar right now and feel like I have been conned. So, please guide me how I can get a refund for the Lost Dungeon building piece. The product delivered, is not as stated or promissed in the Bazaar.
*** UPDATE***
I was refused a refund by Funcom based on above post. I am very disappointed by that since I had not bought the set if I had known there were all foundations pieces in size. Apparently have Funcom no moral problems with giving missleading information in the Bazaar in order to increase sales. I have spent a good amount of money in the Bazaar even though most items are a bit pricy. That I do not mind but I do mind the feeling of being scammed. From now on will I be very reluctant purchasing items from the Bazaar and only purchase items if they have been reviewed by content creators.
Sounds like they applied the âskinâ of the new design to the wrong model (cube âfoundationsâ rather than the âwallâ when calling it a wall). Maybe its an easy fix?
I donât understand how this is context for the refund. I donât think refunds take into consideration played time or how many transactions youâve made in the past.
I wish. Itâs pretty much a recolor of sandstone slapped onto meshes that take up a full cube because, I guess, they were in a hurry to squeeze something out.
Iâm growing more and more irritated by the lack of attention to details. Whoever is making these is doing a half-baked job. The Turanian Expansion set, for example, is very good looking, but incredibly frustrating to use and, in some cases, canât be used the way it should be. For example, you can hang a normal wall off the bottom of a normal ceiling, but you canât hang a rounded wall of the bottom of a rounded ceiling.
That said, I still gave the Turanian Expansion set good use. This Lost Dungeon set? If I could get a refund, I would, but I know people already tried and have been denied.
Like I said elsewhere, the next thing I buy on the Bazaar will only be after Iâve seen someone else display it, since Funcom canât be bothered to include some kind of preview, or at least a limited-time no-questions-asked one-button-click refund policy.
To be entirely fair, the current outfits look nice.
But the issue with the building pieces is a significant one.
This one does very much hope they improve the way in which items are previewed.
Or at least go into greater detail when items will be significantly different from what has come before.
This is as true of the cubist building set as it was of the âDragonboneâ Katana.
Instead of a refund, perhaps a very brief try before you buy phase. Especially for finding dye channels on clothes. Be that as a single illusion application, or pieces with a high decay rate.
Thatâs basically what I was aiming at with the whole âlimited-time no-questions-asked one-button-click refundâ idea. That allows you to try it for a short time and then get it refunded. And you could do it only once, to prevent the whole âI keep trying it and not liking itâ trick that would let one keep using it for free indefinitely
