Loving it. Thank you

The subject says it all. There are issues, there will always be issues. I haven’t looked up a damn thing other than the build models and what Neebs gaming did.

I messed up on the original by looking everything up and trying to get to the best as quick as possible. Which is odd as I only play single player. I am actually loving this.

I know it perturbs people when someone is actually enjoying the experience. I felt this post might be needed. I know it isn’t needed. I’m posting it regardless.

Positive feedback is always needed. People don’t really understand what a constant drag it is when all you get is negative related feedback (mod authors for Conan Exiles get that too. We are rarely thanked, and that’s not even close to what Funcom gets to read every day).

Anyways, there needs to be more of things like this. Thanks for taking the time to post.

I’m in complete agreement with Multigun. It’s a lot easier to post negative opinions than it is to post positive opinions. I don’t know why, but it’s easier to say “you suck” than it is to say “thank you”.

Here’s the thing: we don’t deny the game has its problems. We don’t try to belittle the annoyance people are experiencing when they can’t play their favorite game or it misbehaves somehow. People have valid concerns about the state of the game, and they need to be given the opportunity to voice their opinions.

But we do need to give the same right to those people who are enjoying the game despite its problems. some of us don’t experience the same bugs as others. Some of us do, but are less bothered by them because they don’t seriously affect our playstyle.

We need to be allowed to enjoy the game, and say that we enjoy the game. And Funcom needs to hear that we’re enjoying the game, too.

So, thank you for the thank you.

The new map is awesome. Period. The new changes to healing and other changes were sorely needed. There will always be haters and people opposed to change. It is what it is.

I have been enjoying the map for the last 3 months. I couldn’t wait to see and hear what people think about it and to be allowed to share this experience with them. We have had so many heated discussions about how certain mechanics should work, it is really interesting for me to see similar discussions arise on the forums as well on a much bigger scale.

As a player, it is so refreshing to have something new yet familiar. New places to explore, new mechanics to figure out, a new way to play the old game. There is so much that I don’t know still, it will keep me busy for a while. Knowing that the devs are actively working on even more content, makes me curious what they will come up with.
