Hello everyone,
our community is renting a dedicated box from GTX to run our server. The last 3 days, our top no.1 server has been experiencing lots of issues. There seems to be some sort of attack from several IP addresses that ping the server at a rate of 30-40/second and this causes the server to be unusable for our players. The ping goes into 4 digits for everyone, people teleport to places, unable to move or fall through the map. Our dedi box provider is saying this is not a DDOS attack, but i am starting to doubt it. They blocked the IP’s from china ((Yes, we have Asia and Africa both blocked in the settings and yet this seems to be of no use)) and the server started working until last night the IP changed to be from Cambodia and again we had to close the server down. 70 players sitting in our discord wanting to play and being unable to because of it. As you can imagine, it is very very frustrating!
This is what is happening that makes our server unusable, is anyone else experiencing these issues?
