Make Twitch drops purchasable

I had almost all twitch drops, but lost my old twitch account and i don’t have access anymore to the stuff. I wish the twitch stuff was purchasable by crom coins, maybe could be free for the ones who claim it on twitch and make it purchasable later

No. They should just occasionally rerun Twitch old drops.

I prefer them being purchasable, so i dont have to wait :stuck_out_tongue:

YES, and not just twitch, but also early access rewards. This is annoying when game worth 150 eu. still makes those stupid “twitch drops” and if you lose your twitch account or you don’t have time to watch streams you end up with locked items in your games.

Old game with 150eu price tag, still milks money from ingame shop with 1 emotion = 10 eu price tag, still locks away items because you don’t watch twitch …   :face_vomiting:

  • I will support this game with my money ,but if something new and cool will be locked away from me … gonna get cracked version. :skull_and_crossbones: :skull:

True, don’t understand why some people angry about this. Like what they losing if the stuff they got for free we can get it paying?

How do you lose a Twitch account?

My email got hacked, lost also rockstar games account :S

oof, that sucks.
did you try contacting Twitch or Rockstar to attempt to resolve the issue?

What if I can’t find or don’t have access to my account?

If you cannot find your account or do not have access to your account and believe it is has been inappropriately accessed, we recommend you first try to request a password reset. If you do not receive an email with instructions on resetting your account password the email on the account may have changed.

If you are unable to access your account after requesting a password reset, you can contact us by opening a support ticket.

Question: How can I change my Social Club nickname and email address?

Answer: Here are the steps for changing your Social Club nickname or email:

  1. Log into Social Club: https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/

  2. Click on your profile name in the upper right and select Settings.

  3. With the tab set to Profile, click Edit next to the Nickname or Email.

  4. Enter the new information to replace the old text.

  5. Click Save Changes to save.

For strategic reasons, repeating drops on Twitch itself is practically impossible.

The debate around selling or not selling items that were given away for free as exclusive bonuses has been an ongoing topic here on the forum. It has never happened, dating back to the Sword and Armor that were distributed during the pre-order phase. Perhaps this has been maintained as a way to “honour” the commitment to keeping these items exclusive.

However, considering the current state of game monetization and the likelihood of the Atlantean Sword being more profitable than any other item in the store, this situation may change soon. If an exclusive item is sold in the store, it’s certain that all the others will follow suit. Keep your hopes alive.

Im waiting for rockstar, i have the key i purchased long time ago, but twitch one is more difficult.

good luck, I hope you get things worked out.

At the risk of making myself unpopular, I am going to say it is guided by the same ‘logic’ as the Atlantean Sword and Royal Armor pre-order bonuses. Exclusivity. Some members like the thought of having something that others do not, and become triggered by the prospect of the wider community having ownership of the item too. It is the same sort of mindset that pervades hollywood and certain affluent people. It is not enough to be happy that they have and enjoy the item, they have to then go out of their way to make sure no one else can obtain it at a later date. This is underpinned by selfishness and posessiveness.

I had a similar situation some time ago.

I cancelled a website all together with email I’ve been using - so I could not provide confirmation code to login to Twitch.
Twitch told me to FO as you need to have access to account’s email. I told them that I had phone number assigned there, but they still did not care.
OK so I unlinked that old Twitch account from Conan and created new one and linked it again - voila, all drops gathered via old Twitch account were there unlocked and ready.

This shit is bound to Conan, so even if you delete Twitch it should be still available in game.

That’s the way it goes. You are given the chance to obtain something exclusive, you either choose to get it or not. If not, that’s all she wrote.

But not everyone had that choice. People just starting the game will have no way to get the pre-order bling, or the previous Twitch drop bling, or previous Battlepass bling.

Jealousy is an interesting concept and takes many different forms.
Janis Joplin: “Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz? My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends.”

Janis’s friend: “I have my Porsche, and if you got a Mercedes I wouldn’t feel so special anymore, so I don’t want you to get a Mercedes.”

A Finn: “My friend has a Porsche. I don’t need no stinkin’ Porsche or Mercedes, but I hope my friend wrecks his Porsche.”

We Finns tend to be a modest people, yet so jealous of other people’s success. We don’t want anything for ourselves, but we want those who succeed to fail. And we’re supposedly the happiest people in the world.

I believe there is nothing wrong to have some items that you have to work hard for.
Like in MMO games, where you can get armors and stuff for completing hard content, and others can only watch and be butthurt unless they take action to get these via completing hard content too.
It’s a mountain to climb, and winning a prize and feeling to be one of the best makes you want to climb it.

In Conan there is no mountain to climb hence it quickly becomes a boring game with nothing to do… Unless you’re into PvP, or just chill by collecting rocks and wood, this game does not provide any endless mountain to climb and there is no prize on the top.

Same in my country. People go to sleep praying so the next day they don’t have it better than their neighbour but they pray so the neighbour has it worse than them. Maybe a human nature or some signs of rotting societies.

Like it happened in SWTOR. There was a vendor that only early access players could use. Now you can buy access to that vendor for premium currency (real money).

Why am I punished by not having Atlantean Sword? I want it in Bazaar, today…
Goes back to enjoy his Watcher’s chairs and torches that new players can’t have :joy:

Once a consumer has obtained an item for themselves, it should be of zero concern to them if, when, or by what means other people aquire the product thereafter. Frankly, it is none of their damn business. Heck, I would go a step further and argue that much of the current pricing and sales model we see on the Bazaar can be attributed this behaviour. I brought the game twice so that I could have both the Atlantean Sword and the Royal Armor, and I would be 100% fine with Funcom selling these items or even giving them away.

In fact I would give one of mine to each member of the community now if I could. Because I am neither an envious or posessive person. And I would derive more satisfaction from seeing others enjoy them than the delusions of eloquence and grandeur that come with egotistical feelings of ‘exclusivity’.

That may be the case, but that will not deter me from vocalising my opposition to what I see as poor company policy being steered by the selfishness of select players.

It is not even that simple for some members. I would happily fork out some cash for the Watchers set if it was offered. This is a point which members such as myself and @Barnes have raised in the past. I live in a very remote area, and in my country unlimited data plans are far from standard and quite expensive. Even if I tried to obtain the Watchers set at the time it is offered, well…lets just say this. My chances of getting through 1 hour of video without the signal dropping out would be difficult within itself. Getting through some 6, or 8, or however many hours it was for the Watchers set without being disconnect would be all but impossible. For that reason simply re-running it as @Tephra suggested would not help me. Re-run it if they like, but give us the option to buy it too.

I think the better solution that would satisfy everyone (within reason) would be to offer the items in a re-skinned form on the item store. That way people who went through the process of getting the “special content” in a special manner can keep that as their own, and the people that missed out can still acquire the item, 90% of it at least.

Nobody has to go back on their word. Nobody has to be offended. Nobody has to feel left out.

Just inconvenient realities we can all learn to deal with.

The thing is i had almost all the stuff of twitch drops, i have the game since the early acces, but problem is all stuff was binded to my twitch account and not steam :frowning:
