Make warpaints last forever

I would like to the paints some used like the armor in game. We have regular and legendary versions of armor why not standard and legendary war paint. Standard paint can be made at the dye bench can be just for looks and permanent. The legendary war paint can be crafted at the thermatoligy bench can contain buffs and not permanent. Of course when I say permanent i mean it lasts till removed manually by sloshing fluid. Just an idea

Oh ya, a scroll spell for sorcerers, give you a glowy war paint with a good buff for X amount of time.

But honestly, I’m not sure I want funcom to try.

Back in 3rd Edition D&D there was a prestige class for Sorcerers and Wizards that let them tattoo spells directly on their body instead of using a spell book.

Add alcohol as a component to make it last longer. Just a suggestion. I used to do body painting. Alcohol based body paint lasts longer than water based. It’s also harder to remove

JUST DO IT.

padding : An error occurred: Body seems unclear, is it a complete sentence?

I would like the basic colors for dyeing clothes to be able to be used as before, without a dyeing table, at least some of them.
The more complicated colors, not pure colors, only on the table.
The same goes for tattoos, some basic ones, ash or blood, that could be done by hand, well, with a dual-use knife, an attack weapon and a dyeing weapon. Or all daggers can be used for dyeing, the basic colors can be done by hand, the more complicated ones can’t, you need a brush for most tattoos but not for others. Or you can make a rustic brush for some.

Note: I hope Dune keeps the sandbox, sandbox games are really missed when you play an open world-scripted game.
They look the same but the feeling when playing is different.
And they should take great care of the combats.
The HUD is fine, I hope it can be configured to not have damage effects on enemies, enemy names on them, location points, etc… I usually play without a HUD, without a warning that you are detected, without extra info, my personal request is a configurable HUD.
I was not planning to buy Dune, but maybe it is really good and maybe i´ll try it.
The addition of a monster that appears at night in this latest update is fine, but sometimes it seems a bit unbelievable. It is almost better to randomly add enemies in some camps or places that are empty, if you pass by there, you see them, if you don’t pass by you don’t see them. It would add more variety to the game. The enemies that appear to fill the map usually give the feeling of being unreal, or forced.
I think that 4 or 5 mini camps filled randomly or near where the character passes would be pretty good. Every hour or so you change them. It is not much work and would not cause any extra memory load or anything like that.
Extra personal request to this last one.

I was lucky on #3049PVE: the first darfari gentleman I, um, asked for help after leaving the desert had a warpaint with him that I’ve been wearing for months now (cause Darfari of course)… unfortunately it hides the white eye shadow I had chosen at character creation, but I can live with that. I’ve never tried another warpaint because I fear to lose the perma status… So yes, make this a feature not a bug please!

They need to make it permanent and all the papers stackable im tired looting warpaints and they waste 1 slot from the inventory for every paper why i can loot and stack 1000 iron or 1000 coal or 1000 woods or 20 taxiderm or 20 wells or 20 barracks and cnt do it with a little warpaint…

Back in the day, the buffs were too powerful. One guy would show up to raid you with all potion buffs, all fish buffs, all food buffs, and warpaint and he would be invincible unless u also got those buffs ready for yourself.

It was a good decision to dramatically reduce the amount of buffs you can apply, and I’m honestly fine with the game not having warpaint buffs (you could get +15% strength 4x → ie. +60% strength if they add it back and they could just one-hit kill you).

That being said, why do the former functional warpaints still only last 1 hour if they are no different from the other warpaints that last like 4 hours iirc ?
They just aren’t giving much thought to these warpaints despite that they are constantly trying to sell us these things in the bazaar

It funny how they keep adding things in bazar but they wont rework or make the items really work.

People keep asking about new armors for skin , skins for pets , boats , new mounts , permant tatoos war paints but they wont list the players.

It’s because they don’t care. They only want 1 thing and it’s $$$$.

This game is DEAD. Ship has sailed into Oblivion.
