Make warpaint permanent(til death)

Have been enjoying jumping into isle of siptah and discovered a weapon bile from killing a migo. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the +3 to strength the bile added to my weapon was permanent.
After playing around with it a bit I began to wonder why warpaints don’t receive a similar treatment. Personally I would love for the warpaint to be kept applied until death.

Yeah i would like to see that as well … Stopped using em when the time duration was implemented …also for me make the dlc tattoos also to provide the same bonus like the vanilla ones… The change will be aesthetic if they r not OP i guess… Will just give players a different pattern to select about having a +in attributes

I remember when they lasted forever, it was great. A nice little bump on attribute points. Especially now with everything a player can make being so nutty on siptah. It would be a nice incentive to craft and use them if they were a little less temporary.

Even if it was just a server option for private servers that would be fine by me.

collectibles., just make them cost the same to make and voila, not OP or pay 2 play.

I agree with this call, and have a further suggestion. For non-functional warpaints, that is the purely decorative ones, I would even say make them permanent. If we desire to remove them at a later date we have sloughing agent. As a person who likes tattoos and has quite a lot of them, I used to love putting the various decorative warpaints on my dancers, but I just became annoyed with having to constantly reapply it, so I stopped. Would love to pick up where I left off though if ever this happened.

As a player who is permanently ‘on’ 5 or 6 different elixirs plus a warpaint, I’d like to see this too. Or at the least let them stack.

Speaking of elixirs, the cost of making a stat boosting potion and the cost of a warpaint are like night and day. For the cost of the warpaint I would expect them to last until death.

Or at least let me get one of the patterns from the DLCs ones, maybe putting over the stats one, but I wanna keep the pattern that I like the most…

Warpaints - Another great idea that went down the nerf drain. Anyone know why?
I do not recall many “Nerf the OP warpaints” posts from PVP players.
Sometimes I think FC uses a magic eightball to make decisions.

I don’t think it was so much a nerf, but instead an oversight or perhaps even a minor bug. One that we all loved in between implementation and the unfortunate fix for it.

I think that with siptah adding in all sorts of powerful goodies for us to attain that it’s the perfect time for the dev team to take another look at warpaints and give em some love. What say ye @Ignasi

Because Warpaints are not permanent in reality. Warpaint is not a tattoo. I’m mixed race and live on the outskirts on the Kickapoo reservation and keep in touch with that part of my heritage.

I find that in a game thats setting is a alternate course to the beginnings of the human race, filled with all manner of cosmic horrors, and steeped in the darkest of sorcery and monsters that realism is a paper thin argument. At one point warpaints we’re keep until death and it was great. It did not upset the balance of the game one bit and I can’t recall anyone saying that it was broken.

i agree m8 warpaint should be permanent like sigils until death

If it like that, won’t the thrall have it all their life since once they die it the end.

As a player that supplies their entire thrall army with Valeria’s warpaint, I’d welcome the addition of permanent decorative warpaint.

That must be quite the labour of love!

Right now I kinda think decorative paints should stay until either sloughed or replaced.

As for the funks: before a recent Purge I made STR warpaint for my Level 12 Berserker. Boy howdy did I get the audible version of side-eye from my clanmate. I didn’t know why until Purge Post-Game, when I saw the paint was gone. Two units of boom are either worth more BUFF, or should last longer than an hour. Or both.

Make warpaints last until death, but you could make a “Henna Powder” variant of Warpaints that stacks with warpaints, but is on a timer and is cheaper to produce.

These would be brighter lined patterns and designs that you can place over top of tattoos and war paints…

Or Kohl, and it poisons you over time. If they add sorcery, I hope they’ll add Antimony as an element, then we could “bake” the woad onto our skins!

THe cost for warpaint seems pretty high for the quite small bonus they impart and the little time they last. I would either like to see them last longer, or I would like to see war paints expanded to include different functions other than boring stat increases. Examples: Stamina regen, health regen, damage reduction, increasing your attacks penetration, making you glow like a torch, making you difficult to spot for enemies (reduced aggro), cold resistance, heat resistance, etc. Warpaints should be exciting. As they are, bleh.
