now im reasonable and i dont complain alot, didnt feel like signing up on here for awhile till now…
up until this recent patch, those master armor kits were able to repair legendary armor, why change that now when there is no other way to repair them, why change it without any other way to repair legendary armor, who wants to use armor for a day or so and its broken forever, just a bummer i was looking forward to this patch for so long now i dont even want to use my best armor anymore
You never could use master kits to repair legendary armor. Funcom has already said that they are not introducing legendary armor repair kits until they get the balance figured out.
Can’t you place the armor on the bench and have the thrall repair it?
Nope. You would probably need a purge thrall to craft the legendary armor repair kit. just like you need a certain purge thrall to craft the legendary weapon repair kit. However, you can get all the weapon repair kits you’ll ever need by defeating bosses in the Unnamed City, so I suspect you will some day be able to get the armor repair kits the same way.
In the meantime, put your legendary armor on your best fighter thrall since they won’t take any damage there.
Yep, legendary armor isn’t meant to be repaired (at least not yet, as Fortyniners said). If you were able to use a master repair kit to repair them, it was a bug, not a feature.
And then go visit the Volcano, it’s totally safe for thralls.
Is there a single point to do that apart from cosmetic purposes? Thralls don’t benefit from any stats and temperature resistances.
They benefit from armor value, and equipment on thralls does not experience durability loss.
True, but is there a legendary armor with significantly higher armor value then the corresponding non-legendary piece?
I have found only 5 pieces of legendary armor so far, and none has enough of an armor value that would make me use it on a thrall.

Much like the issue people had with Legendary Weapons people now have with Legendary Armor. People want to use it but overall it’s not feasible.
When they made legendary weapons easier to repair we saw people brining them out. This was a great time for everyone. We could finally use pretty fun weapons with a cool look.
Personally the legendary armor is pretty fun. But it falls the wayside for more practical armors that are repairable.
