Maybe nerf Arena Champion a bit?

On the way from Braga, on the Mounds of the Dead, to the berserker spawn, near some crimson lotus, you can pick the spit emote, if memory doesn’t fail me. It would have been very appropriate!

They will die like dogs. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

No, they will not die like dogs! They will fight like lions! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Last time you said that fiber armor is not an armor! Make a test if you wish! Place on the fiber armor Master armor plantings, place 4 on grit 2 on strength, 4 on agility and 2 on vitality! Or go 3 to all! But with 4 on grit and 4 on agility you have such of stamina regeneration and the protection of the fourth perk on grit! The fourth perk on agility will give you a good hit after the dodge and a second without stamina loss. Of course this build is for hammer not mace, which will be more effective, since now the hammers first heavy breaks all the combos, even in some bosses too… Unbelievable uh?

So true! That’s why all my challenges are going official tbh. In single player you play without the agony of loss, which means fearless! Playing fearless makes the fights easier!
Today I will go official to take all the sigils just with the sorcery gear and only the hammer, I want to see the difference which I expect will be great .
@Xevyr the Arena champion hits harder than judge! On mace however the fourth heavy hit can make almost all the damage the other 3 are doing . The reason that judge is difficult is because of his weapon, the spear npcs are the most difficult to win, the easiest are the ones with the hammer.
However, I count countless deaths from npcs with daggers . The fourth of the spear is very powerful too but you can avoid really easy, the fourth of the mace has great range and it might find you in unexpected distance some times. Mace is a really powerful weapon!

It’s not an armor still. It’s clothes with plating!
Man, with max grit you can hit forever. That’s why I said I could have finished the AC in half the time, because I still had a lot of stamina available and I could have kept going.
Definitely we have some very interesting builds for pve.

About the online/offline business. Well, the game always worked better for me online. Less wonky stuff going on. But if the player experiences lag or fps drops at crucial moments, that’s a problem. We’ve all been there. Regarding being afraid of losing stuff, if you’re not abusing the admin panel, it’s the same. But there are some crazy challenges that are best done offline because of traveling time and waste of resources. I don’t think you should repeat that challenge online. Why? Because the abysmal gear is cheap to make and you’ll spend most of your time in preparations and travel than actually doing the meaty part. It won’t be much different. If you die due to undesirable online factors, you die due to things that should not have happened. It doesn’t make the challenge funnier, imo. If I were you, I would come up with a new one instead. But keep in mind we are really close to the new update. I know what I’ll be doing.

Exactly! And this is adding frustration! Frustration can make you play wrong and loose because of that! Then the one mistake will bring the other and you will f… k everything before you know it. But still, this is exactly why I said that I am experienced in this game and not a skilled player! Because to reach to this point I have lost, a lot, so pracricaly, I don’t feel anymore! I remember nights, especially in PvP, loosing my sleep! And the day after thinking of ways to recover and what I have done wrong to fix it. All you see, is just to much experience of this game, nothing else! But still, all these challenges is not for me to prove something to others , is because they provide me interest and fun! Other than that they make me use things that I would never use in other occasions! It’s not sane when you have everything and can fix the best, to use the worst to go and fight! So through these challenges, I force my self to made it against all odds and the feeling is great, but for me and me only. The reason I suggest them is because only if you do them you can understand this feeling, which is unique!
Last but not least I crash the minimum when I play this way on official servers, so this is a good reason for me to do them .

Meh… You know I keep my cool. I die to stupid shit, not hard fights.
Btw, I’m downloading the patch, reading the notes and praying to all the gods!
How’s it going over there? The update is huge!

The patch is ready @MarcosC , I understand correctly? If I understand correctly please tell me to call Angela and tell her to turn on my PlayStation! I will go home at least in 3 hours from now, so this will save me time. Please confirm :pray:t6:

You could try a very minimalist base… It pains me to imagine what you go through playing the game from a ps4. It was bad pre 3.0. Now I can’t even have an idea…

Yes, it’s ready. I’m almost finishing downloading it. Call her! Make sure it’s downloading. Tell her to load Conan just in case it doesn’t auto start. That will pull it for sure.
It stopped downloading several times and I had to pause/continue for it to keep going, but it might not happen to you.

This is asignine…Can anyone tell us in all seriousness that arena champion’s power level makes remote sense in dungeon design?

Yeah yeah yeah sure you can best her and she is easy and blah blah blah…skill signalling skill signalling skill signalling but can you say that the end dungeon boss is the top boss of this little campaign? Of course not because we all know the arena champ far outpaces all other 3 skulls period and that’s probably not by design.

If it isn’t a problem then I want the same armor reduction wearing champion armor as she gets? Oh that’s meta, and over the top unbalanced? Yeah I know, that’s my point.

Edited because coffee hasn’t kicked in yet

My point was you are saying the arena champion is really easy and could use a buff. I’m saying in that fight you posted you would have a lot harder time vs those two weapon types rather than a predictable mace combo.

Dude, the Arena Champion ALWAYS has the same weapon. It’s the Quake mace. Your idea would be giving her another weapon as a buff? The mace is one of the best weapons npcs can have, just so you know. I don’t fear those weapon types more than the mace. I just adapt my strategy, @Capt_insano0. The result would be the same.

Just an observation it’s not that deep my guy

No, it’s not deep indeed. You are guessing that I would have it harder if the AC had another weapon. 1st, she can’t. 2nd, you don’t know that. It’s a bit silly.

What’s silly is when pvers call for a nerf after causing a scene every time the word is even brought up but hey that’s just my observation as well.

Yeah, I kind of figured you had a chip on your shoulder. Listen buddy, believe me, you don’t want to go down that road with me. I could tell you what you could do with those ‘observations’, but I’m too busy exploring the new update. Have a nice day.

You’re right I’ve seen you rants I’m all good. Enjoy :relaxed:

No I think they need to make it and all the other so called Bosses much harder. 99% are faceroll and the Arena Champion goes down waaaay to fast! There is 0 challenge in any of the bosses in the game, in fact many are simply laughable.
