Merchants at Mek-kamoses's Spire are all replaced by Khitan Exile fighters

What they really need to do is lower the max clan size, 10 man clan is about 2 times to much…

That seems weird because the patch notes directly mention a bug from last chapter where merchants weren’t able to sell the last item in their rotation. But if those merchants have been removed, why would this matter/be fixed/worth mentioning?

What?

Well if this is the case they created yet another worthless item in Obolus to go along with Sorc Skulls and the countless others. Funcom really shit the bed on this one, hope they change their minds.
And the vendors still give Obolus, pretty poor forward thinking.

Welcome change.

I think that the intention of Funcom is oriented to the future, is to trade in gold, and we can verify it by beating a purge, (there we can find a trader)

I play PVP server exclusively since early access, before there was a dungeon or purge in the game. Purge is trivial, I have no interest in fighting the very dumb and easy to beat NPC’s… You said gold? I said nothing about gold.

I mean, the more we immerse ourselves in history, funcom invites us to trade in gold

To clarify, with acient obulus trading, it became very easy to cancel a base. obtaining dragon dust was a routine that pro players used to erase newly introduced players from the map

Vendors at Mek-Kamoses have been instructed that players do not need a secret pass phrase to purchase the last item in their inventory. They will now properly show all items they offer for sale at all times.

Thanks for the reply Andy. So what about Ancient Obolus coins now that there are no vendors to use them in the game? The two vendors you mention use Blood Crystals. Would it be possible to get at least the blood tool vendor and one that sells the Mad Prophet armor pieces (or the crafting recipe) since we have no way of currently obtaining the armor in game?

so what are we supposed to do with obolus coins?

I clearly remember them saying that the vendors in AoW Chapter 1 were temporary to give people a chance to spend their Ancient Obolus after they removed headhunting?

EDIT: Text below is invalid, apparently I was wrong.

I believe there is some communication gap.

AndyB just stated what IS working and what IS available right now at the trader spot (meaning you still can obtain ophidian boxes, resources and oboli). He did not say anything about this trader problem to be on purpose, nor that traders are not comming back. This apparently is bug to be worked on right now.

Let’s stay on track pls, or better to lock this thread before there is more hoax like this.

Hoax? What are you talking about, the post you replied to is exactly what the patch notes say.

I mean people thinking that obolus is no more to be spent, that this all was intended, etc. Read some of the post above.

I reposted the quote from the notes for it to be clear to the others as well, that this is a bug. It was nothing against you.

You can also buy stuff now from new purge.

thx for clarification, good move

I confirm the bug on the official PVE Server

So the obolus that I spent two days farming are now worthless. Thank you. :frowning:
