Randomized maps as a selectable option.
Being able to remove or rename locations.
Able to hide the map number grid As An Option.
An option like one of the mods to select the terrain type for the majority of the map.
All of those have had mods doing stuff like that in Steam. There was one mod that turned the entire map into the same map but as highlands terrain for one example.
