The only solution to be able to turn the corner element and close the gap is to place a foundation beneath, but this would contradict the idea of a sloped roof/overhang.
I could also palce a basic wall element in that place but that would cause an ugly corner hanging out of the outside wall.
That’s due to stability since it does not have points to connect the two corners pieces do not connect to each other only walls and foundations/fences that’s why and that’s for all building type and tier
@Corspa, Beautiful, pc players are so lucky, please send a full photo of your building, it must be breathtaking. Still I have one question and I apologize if it is silly because my English are not so well and I don’t quite understand what you want. This building system doesn’t have inverted sloped roof pieces? You know, the triangles that are upside down.
Understnd what you write but I think it is a bug/mistake made by the programmers.
to compare it:
it is not possible to place it turned and linked to the upper and left wall, something that would actually give that piese more stability.
it is possible to place the piece with only a link to the upper wall, as shown on the screenshot. Something that should not be possible in case of stability reasons.
It is also possible to place a basic wall element to close the corner.
the last two options show that it cant be a stability issue but a missing placing option.
One thing that did work for me. It’s not very practical though. If you put a fence foundation down attached to the building somewhere and then destroy it right away. Then go to the piece you want to place and see if it will snap in. Most of the time after I destroy a piece I can place a piece. Just a thought.
If I place a foundation beneath, then I can place the corner the way I need it to be and then too it will have no link on the right side. The foundation also adds no additional connections which the “wrong sided” corner did not already have or be linked too.
Like I said that is the way it was made years ago cause they aren’t to snap together like that as it’s not intended but I honestly could care less about that but it doesn’t mean that they should not consider it but that one piece does connect like that but not the backs to each other
BTW this is an excellent example of where building order matters!!!
If you place the Stormglass Sloped Window BEFORE placing the Inverted Sloped Wall, the Inverted Sloped Wall won’t rotate into place in the direction you want.
You MUST place the inverted sloped wall BEFORE placing the sloped window.
Ceiling piece overhang (gives stability for the inverted sloped wall)
