Missing privileges issue

Hi, after the latest updates, I can no longer update the game, as soon as I complete the download and try to install them, it tells me it cannot install the missing privilege file updates

Thank you for your report. Please follow the steps to verify your game files:

  1. Open Steam
  2. In Library, click with the right button on the game and select “Properties”
  3. Select the Installed files
  4. Select Verify integrity of game files….

Hi, thanks for the reply but I’ve already done this many times and it doesn’t solve the problem.

I wanted to delete the game and reinstall it, but this way I lose my progress and saves, how can I do a backup?

Default save file location is c: > Program Files(x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Conan Exiles > ConanSandbox > saved

In there you’ll find a few files - ‘game’db’ is the only one you actually need to backup, as that is the latest version. (the rest is mostly just time interval backups)

Hi, I saved to the save folder as suggested, finally after 2 reinstallations I managed to get the game working :+1: :wave:
