This is nice. Sometimes I get video game phantom pain while playing this game. I’ve opened my inventory before looking for it.

The mod got a bit of an update especially since people have been asking for a way for admins to change the cooldown amount :stuck_out_tongue:

Here’s the changelog:

  • Fixed some issues with the effect and added some light to it (only shows on ultra or cinematic effects quality setting)
  • Made sounds 3D for other nearby players
  • Added cancelling on damage taken
  • Added admin command dc hscooldown X to set the cooldown to X minutes
  • Prevent teleporting with weapons / rope out

Here’s a short clip of the upgraded effect in the dark (might replace that effect in the future to something a bit more “hearthstone-y” though I think it came out cool, just might not fit the theme much… hmm :thinking: )

I really love how you come up with these tiny mods that offer such simple yet huge QoL improvements. You would think others would have thought of them by now but for me I didn’t realize how much I needed them until I tried them out.

This mod is a bit of a recurring topic though, it’s partly why I made it. I’ve seen a number of modders asking for help with implementing something similar into their mods, in fact I helped a few of them in the past.

So I initially made this in my own servermod as well just to mess around with something, but then I thought I could just make it a standalone mod and then people wouldn’t need to develop them in their servermods and could just straight up install it as an isolated feature :stuck_out_tongue:
