Mod Mismatch Status "Not Found"

Unable to connect to any server with mods. Client will not update or download the mods. Suck with “not found” status on everything.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

1. Try to connect to a server with mods.
2. Wait for sync.
3. See it’s stuck on “not found” status
4. quit

I have attempted un-subbing from everything. No dice.
I completely wiped all of my local data related to Conan, and re-installed. No dice.
I went through and manually purged the registry, no dice.

Even after re-subbing to mods, they are not downloading. They do not show up in the Mods menu when I go to choose them.

Last week this started happening with just a couple of mods. Work around was to manually download them, place them into the correct location, and manually edit the mods list file to point to them. This is no longer working. Now all mods are toast.

Steam has been having a few issues during the past week which affected different functionalities, mods being one of them. There’s been a lengthy discussion in this thread on our Steam forums.
Just in case, we’ll poke our team about this to see if there is anything that got botched on our end when Steam had those problems.

I did finally get it to work. I had to completely nuke everything, wipe the registry, and then hard reset my PC.
Afterwards, I performed a clean install from absolute scratch, and it started working. Or at least, it’s worked so far for the two servers I work on.

Steam was chugging a lot last night. Like even loading a thread took a solid minute in what usually takes half a second. Not sure if that was related to what you saw. But all the mods on my end were still there and loaded fine at the time also, so (shrug)
