Mods and September 1st Release Date

Just providing an update. I was mistaken about it being 6 days, because I was assuming the Dev Kit was fine. It hasn’t been fine. There have been multiple crashes (since fixed), but now we are discovering bugs upon bugs that effectively cause issues (some critical) to existing mods.

To the devs credit who are assigned to the dev kit, they are putting serious overtime hours this weekend to try and resolve them. But because we have so few days to begin with, we are now looking at just a few days total to work on our mods in full, assuming the bugs that we have found (thus far, we’re discovering new ones practically by the hour) are actually fixed within a reasonable amount of time.

I definitely am not putting blame on the dev team assigned to the actual dev kit. They are doing the best they can with the time they were given. Just like mod creators. So just rehashing, patch day most likely will have many broken mods. Please be patient with the mod creators.
