So once again you have released OP items in the bazaar, so people buy them and you make alot of money. Problem is everytime you do it, few weeks or months later they get nerfed to the ground.
Can we expect this to be a common thing now?
release overpowered material that you know you are gonna nerf some time later.
surely there has to be a moral compas about such missguidance.
Hello everyone and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Just to clarify, this issue is a text/description issue and not an overpowered item.
The item is suppose to be under the âHeavyâ category not âLightâ category and you will notice when crafting the item that it will require heavy padding.
We are currently looking into the issue so thank you so much for your patience and understanding.
I canât take screenshots because I am running in HDR mode, but I crafted a Voidforge Pike with 68dmg, 0%pen and 2.689.3durability, no upgrade. And before you quibble about having Siptah recipes on EL, Iâm not interested, itâs a thing.
So my point still stands, you can craft and find better spears on EL with a little difficulty and with ease on Siptah.
Now, where would you like me to send the humble pie I am baking for you?
P.S. I actually agree the spear is a little OP and that durability changes suck and that finding specific legs out in the world sucks, but Iâm not here to talk about that
Oh dear lord am i gonna have a field day with you good sir
First off, your argument is invalid ALONE by the fact that siptah is ALSO a dlc that you have to buy.
now that being said let me dismantle your argument a bit further.
so you are comparing a weapon that require eldarium (which you cant get on EL), to a weapon that require star metal? surely even you can see how that doesnt work.
Now even if it was so, your weapon have 0 armor pen, mine has 17. so even if yours has 11 more dmg, mine would still deal more depending on enemy armor situation.
Iâll slightly retract my statement about it not being pay to win, itâs 9% pay to win, so you can have that one.
You said âi really doubt that you didâ in response to me saying I crafted a better spear on EL. I did, argue all you like, 11 damage, (which is 19.3% extra damage compared to the PTW spear), will most of the time in most situations, (both PVE and PVP), do more damage for most people playing Conan Exiles. Iâm sure you can cherry pick a specific PVP situation with cherry picked armour and buffs where the 9% more pen is better, but for the majority of the time and for the majority of the players playing Conan, the Voidforge is betterâŠcase closed.
Now facts donât depend on your doubts, (lucky for the rest of us), so I win the âI did craft a better spear on ELâ statement.
Now comparing your 9% win, (thanks to my gracious nature), to my 100% win, I am the winnar over allâŠding ding, pie is ready!
P.S. Siptah DLCâs, Eldarium, Recipes, (which you forgot to mention), etc, they are irrelevant to this game of logic.
So again i must state that you are absolutely wrong.
You said âyou can craft better on siptahâ and then turned back with âyou also can on EL, i just didâ
why would you seperate EL from siptah in the first place, if you are crafting a siptah weapon on EL.
100% you crafted a spear you thought was better, untill you realised your mistake and had to find a solution.
Now all that being said, my spear with the 17 armor pen will do more dmg than your siptah one, to any player wearing gear. now sure first day of a wipe where people using gear with max 100 armor maybe it wont.
So not only is your weapon not accessable for almost everyone, its also worse in almost every single situation.
now THAT my friend, is what we call case closed.
i will be waiting for your âim sorry, you are rightâ comment.
There was no separation or mistake, I crafted a Voidforge spear to see what itâs stats were like, went out hunting, came back and tried to take screenshots and failed. Your amateur sleuthing is just random guessing as to the sequence of events that led to this discussion.
Lets just agree to disagree.
P.S. Voidforge Spear is better for most of Conanâs player base most of the time; I predicted you would use a cherry picked PVP encounter as the basis of your reasoning and thatâs where you fail in this discussion, the majority of Conanâs player base will never experience those types of encounters
