Would like to see the Artisan Tables return to their previous status of only the DLC table can make the DLC content. Would also prefer an additional Artisan table just for Bazaar items. I have SO many crafting recipes in the Artisan table, it takes a while to find them. Plus, the sort order seems to change with every update. Can only assume the sort order is alphabetical in some other language (not English).
I’d have to log in to check but isn’t it a sorting option? I mean the DLCs.
Yes, there is a sorting option for DLCs. However, it requires you to scroll through all of them, maybe even multiple times in the event you miss the one you want. But for me, it simply makes the game even slooower to play than it currently is. And it is already wayyy too slow with the fear of moving entire inventories. Much easier to just use a different bench.
This one disagrees.
This is solving a problem (the crafting UI for the artisan tables is inelegant and cumbersome) by exasperating another problem (the bloat of crafting stations required, thus contributing to building sprawl).
This one very much agrees that the crafting bench UI is not in a good place. Not just the Artisan Table, but also the Armourer Table. A problem that will only be further exasperated as additional items from the Bazaar and Battle Pass roll in. A tab based system, or a selectable filter that doesn’t require cycling, would be significantly better.
Unfortunately, we’ve seen their priorities in Crafting UI updates, and ease of use isn’t one of them.
I know what I’d like to see in bench/storage sorting, but it behooves me to make any request of funcom because you never know what sort of haggis they are going to hand you. But I’d like to see a page tab menu. Each tab would open a new page in the bench menu. one for each DLC, bazaar and battle pass. Or by item type. Furniture, lighting, wall ornaments, standing ornaments, other.
I’d love a tab system. I suggested something like that several years ago exactly because the recipe bloat was getting out of hand.
Funcom managed to make an adequately functioning tab system to the construction hammer menu, so it’s not hopeless.
