If we can let’s leave any bias or flaming away please
I’ll be coming back to game after years away and rolling toons in a few days and would like to know what side im choosing before i leave arete. Don’t have my old accounts anymore so starting anew. I really couldn’t care less about role play or which side. I’d just like some unbiased reports on which side has the most activity these days. Both in orgs and general teaming? Mainly really for orgs for a friendly atmosphere where we can help each other with quests and raids.
I was also considering neut just for opening up the teaming possibilities but i’m thinking sided would give me better org opportunities. Not to mention id like to keep the token boards hehe.
I took a run around and athens seems decently populated.
Clan seems more active because the main clan city (old athen) is alive and well wheras all of the omni cities have been abandoned and omni players mostly hang out in the neutral cities like borealis and ICC.
Honestly I think they are fairly even, I doubt you are gaining or losing anything significant by choosing one or the other. The fact that clan are all gathered in one spot (I guess??) as opposed to spread out icc/borealis/etc doesn’t really make any real difference imo.
Storm Crusaders/Weyland Yutani are probably the most populated orgs omni side, albeit a bit chaotic.
Storm/Athen Paladins on clan side are populated and helpful.
There are lots of other orgs, Cool Guys (Omni), Angels of the Night (Clan), The Union (Neutral) but I can’t attest to how big/active they are. It’s worth mentioning that some of these orgs such as The Union have linked bots with other orgs. For example Shadow Company, The Company, The Union and probably more that I can’t remember all have bots that talk to each other.
As well as the RK area’s a lot of the population is spread out into different play-fields, gathering points in say inf new missions there have a neutral option so that you can team with any faction ( you will not gain side on these though redeemed/unredeemed )
This makes it very hard to offer any accurate numbers, but on experience it’s about even in numbers.
