Mount encumbrance

How does mount encumbrance work? Like if I’m overencumbered can I still mount? Will my mount be slow? Also what pet or thrall has the most carrying slots? I need one to carry some of my stuff that I’m being forced to move to another server.

If I remember right, mounting while overencumbered will result in the mount not being able to run, just like your character. However, you can load your mount up with ten full stacks of stone and then yourself with however many stacks just short of being overencumbered and he will still be able to move as normal.

As far as most slots on pets and thralls: Camels, caravan elephants, caravan rhinos, and bearers are the ones you are looking for. The animals have 30 slots each and the bearers have 10 - 25 depending on tier.

Bearer thralls are the ones with big packs on them. Easily recognized and captured same as any other thrall.

Camels you have to purchase from an NPC vendor and then raise in the animal pen.

Caravan elephants and caravan rhinos are part of the Treasures of Turan DLC. They involve taking a regular version of the respective animal raised in the animal pen and then crafting it together with turanian fodder before you place it on the ground.

Thanks appreciate it!

Does anybody know if you can actually bring a follower along for server transfer?

You can only bring fighter/archer thralls that haven’t previously been placed in world.

You can bring any and all thralls that haven’t been placed. Mounts too, etc. etc…

The fact that you still can run when over 100% with 50 enc but not gallop with the horse although you would if you put it in its inventory may well be one of my biggest annoyances in this game
