So we have horses, rhinos, and camels. I like the diversity but I also think we should get more options as we continue down this path so I’m opening this up to give all of us a venue to tell the dev teams what we would like to see for future additions.
Elephants. I think elephants would be great. Slow and powerful with the ability to know down mobs of people. Add two archer points on the “saddle” and you got a portable war machine worthy of Carthage.
Sabertooths. I know I know. Too much fantasy/ He-man but you got people on rhinos so I don’t want to hear it. Fast spurts but low endurance. A pounce attack that hurts but immediately dislodges the rider .
Chariots: Something I think we need are chariots that can have animal attached but these animals don’t do anything special (cosmetic). Animals I would include would be horses, rhinos, spiders, wolves, zombies (because think about it…it would be cool AF)
With felines i see @Sera67 coming back for good and tbh, i find them really cool to ride.
But i vote @Ragnaguard, give us dragons and let them breathe fire!!!
I know this is not what you asked, but before all that I would like thralls were given the ability to mount when following.
Then, war elephants, definitely!
I’ve been back for abit… don’t post cause I don’t have alot of nice things to say about combat changes. (let alone how sliding enemies and wonky movement got out of test phase)
Also really mad, after coming back to play… my save and all setting went poof with update… Lost all Season items again… Sigh
But Wolves is what I want… Battlecat be cool… Dye it green… pretend I’m playing He-Man XD
I’d be cool with a large cat or something. I like the idea of speed, agility, and damage. I’m gonna pass on large clunky elephants, dragons, etc. just because the rhinos weren’t much fun either imo. That being said, I’m not gonna deny them for others who do want them.
Sorry to be ‘that guy’, but I respectfully feel that we should stick closely to the lore in this regard. To Elephants, or even Donkeys as @Dark_Overlord suggested, sounds great. But anything else like wolves, sabretooths, spiders, sandbeasts, dragons, etc, etc, it is a ‘No’ from me.

Beautiful photo, stay around no matter what you say it’s feedback and your “feelings” must be taken under consideration. If you won’t share them they’ll never know!
The camel won’t replace the horse as best combat-mount, but for farming it has a useful purpose.
Elephants would have the same cool-factor going on like rhinos. And i know the horn- and charge attack can deal a lot of damage, but idk man.
They are simply too slow to keep up with a horse.
If FC implements more i hope they have really useful abilities to set them apart.
Like spider mounts which are able to climb.
Or the elephant could be able to carry more than one player, but all players can shoot down from its back, and have an even bigger inventory than the camel. (Medieval tank/mobile vault basically)
I‘m not a lore expert, so maybe you could illuminate us. But sabertooth or tigers should be possible, and we are able to pet almost everything already.
And can summon spiders with the zath religion.
So why not?
And are there no dragon riders in the lore?
Maybe FC could tie it to the religions, a polar bear for ymir, snakes for seth, and so on.
However, what i would really like, and i know many PvP‘ers don’t like the fly-bat-spell, but it’s already in the game.

I want MOAR mounts! And yes to War Elephants with 3 riders and a siege mechanic!
What the lore permits as my good friend @Croms_Faithful pointed out I don’t know nearly enough about BUT I would love Sabertooth mounts and wolves and spiders and even Dragons!!!
It’s just so cool thinking about it.
Flying mounts I can see would be an absolute Fckup for PvP…but I don’t play PvP now do I HAHAHA!!! I want a sorcerous flying mount, whatever as long as it looks sick AF and cool.
The ability for Thralls to mount up is also on the top 5 of my wishlist.
I’ll be that guy. Big nope to high fantasy mounts. Leave that to mods. Basically if we got Elephants and Donkeys, the mount variety in CE would simply be complete.
