Multiple lock on targets for large/long NPCS

When with a companion it can get crowded when locking on to the same target.
Would be great if we could get some more targets to lock on to for large/longer NPCs.

Seems that the target lock is placed in the center of most NPCs.
Fighting elephants, rhinos, etc and you end up awkwardly under/inside the belly.
For a mob like this I would like to see a target lock for the head, butt and one for each side of the chest.
And remove the center one.

Just an example, but I think having multiple targets to lock on to for the same NPC, and refining the locations of these targets, would make fighting larger NPCs a better experience.

hi, is there a way to switch through all the locks?
like selecting 1st enemy, and then 2nd one instead, etc?

i often press q to target lock, but it selects my own thrall or pet (sometimes)

(when you said butt, you want to target someones butt?)

If you are fighting three human NPCs you have three possible targets.
This works well due to the size of the humans.

However, when you are fighting a rhino, with a friend or a companion, you both have the same target.
It would be nice if you could attack the rear(butt) and your companion/friend could lock on to the head.
That way you wouldn’t be bundled up when fighting.

As for switching targets, I just flick the stick on my controller to change targets. Don’t know how it works on PC.

ah ok thanks, i’ll have another look in the keyboard mappings to see
