What’s up Stalkers?! We’re happy to announce that our first official fanart contest is now open! Got a mutant in mind that’d be perfect for sneaking around the world? They big, small, scaly, smooth, feathered, human-like, animal-like, or monster-like? We want to see 'em.

:duck: What To Do:

In this contest you have two options:

  1. You can create and draw your own perfect mutant that you think would do well in the apocalyptic world of MYZ.
    Make them as crazy or simple as you want! Do they have clothes made from scrap lying around? Any interesting mutations to help in combat? Do they have a backstory?
    Here’s a moose mutant named “Kungen”, who wears goggles that allow him to look straight ahead at his prey. You can read more about him here. And then there’s a crocodile mutant sippin’ on some juice! You aren’t required to write any details about the character but we do ask that you give them a name.

  2. Create art of an existing Mutant! If you don’t have an original Mutant in mind, that’s totally fine! You can draw the lovable existing ones like Dux or Selma or whoever else your favorite might be.

You only have to do one option but you’re welcome to do both if you’d like! If you want to show off your work, share it on social media with the hashtag #MYZFanart. We look forward to seeing what you come up with.

:fox_face: Due Date:

Your entry must be emailed in by 2019-04-30T03:59:00Z. We will then announce the winners and show off entries on stream!

:boar: Prizes:

Judges will choose 5 winners to receive one physical version of the new Mutant Year Zero Deluxe Edition. So if you are a winner, we will also need to contact you about an address to send it to! This edition includes the full game and a DLC which adds more story content plus a secret new mutant. More about this edition will be revealed later!

:robot: How to Enter and Rules:

  • You must enter the contest by emailing us the picture as an attachment here: contest@funcom.com
  • Please make the subject line: MYZ Fanart Contest
  • If you’re creating an original Mutant, you aren’t required to make a backstory or details. But you must include a name for your Mutant!
  • It must be your original work. No stealing!
  • You can use whatever art form you want. So paints, pencil, tablet, whatever!
  • Feel free to share your art on social media with the #MYZFanart hashtag. But you must email it in in order for it to count.
  • Please keep it safe for work. :wink:
