Unusual Decay in Large chests
I logged in yesterday (12.10.21) My base should have been reset back to 168.
Just log in now at 10pm (12.11.21) see a loot bag on my shelf. Say what???
Check log…
Top shelf decayed. Other 2 would not reset. Had to return to inventory and place again.
Base seems fine. Other properties on map seem fine. What’s going on?? Is this a isolated incident? Anyone else?

Yeah…looks like the shelf chest method is still unstable. I ran into this abou a year ago as well. The chest renders before the shelf or lower chests and since it’s in the air…it looses stability and is gone. Use this at risk.
This seems to be happening on all platforms. Place them directly on foundations for now, items placed on non-structure pieces seem to be randomly losing stability
Seems alot of people on all platforms are expierencing chest losing stability!
Mine did not lose stability, but rather went straight to decay status!
Not sure it’s the same thing.

I would of rather had my chest decay out then my base and everything I owned. Sorry this happened to you.
