Indeed, there is disparity in how they change things.
Keep in mind if you’re on an official server you’re sharing it with others… so if you only log in once in a week or less then the decay system is essentially doing what it is intended for.
There are other options to refresh your timers if you’re going to be away from your PC/laptop though.
