Basic Info:
Platform: Steam
Issue Type: Other
Game Mode: Online Official
Server Type: PvE-Conflict
Map: Exiled Lands
Server Name: 1035 and 1039
Mods: None
Bug Description:
All my main base thralls (50) on 1035 disappeared.
All my thralls (20) on 1039 disappeared.
I have lost around 60 thralls (with their legendary weapons and epic armors) and 10 pets.
Bug Reproduction:
I logged in and thralls were gone on both servers. Just log in and check.
Funcom, I know that in such situations you can’t do anything, as for what I remember a reroll can be done just for the whole server. Let me say that the chance to reroll a single account inventory shouldn’t lack in a game where you loose content so easily, considering that here we’re talking of tons of game hours, because of the time needed to catch and level all these thralls, farm all the mats needed for armors and grind their legendary weapons.
p.s. all the followers disappeared on Jan 9th, I wonder if that day you reverted the holiday decay timer back to normal.
Here’s the log. Just to clarify, my bases are perfectly intact, as I regularly logged during holidays (on server 1035 I still have 5 thralls and 2 pets in one outpost).
Happened to a bunch of us on Siptah a few months back… a “bunch”, but not enough for Funkhram to care. At all. They have ignored us for months after deleting every last one of our followers, never mind that many were equipped with unreplaceable gear.
same things happend with me but couple month ago. lost around 50 thralls. my clan was online almost every day. i am clan leader and i was in vacation. so funcome as like always…
I logged in once each week in december. I carefully checked the decay timer was fulled for each and every building prior to logout. My bases are there, just thralls disappeared.
What I don’t get is why they didn’t implement sort of player/guild sheet containing a list of thralls and gear worn. In this way, if something goes wrong, they could at least throw us some chest containing these stuff as compensation.
It hasn’t been left out entirely but with a multiplier of 1.0 it’s not noticeable!
Parts of the building have nothing to do with the Thralls!
240 hours count for both. But they are independent!
You can delay it a little with the Thrall Pot!
Why some people’s thralls are gone is quite simple. The Thralls have 240 hours and only the building parts have been increased to 480 hours! If there had been something in the Thrall Pot we could have delayed it a bit! Everyone has to know for themselves and everyone has their own opinion.
Not sure, but this is what wiki reports: “Thralls don’t have to be fed, as they depend on a decay timer. If you do not log in in 15 days they will disappear as shown under Settings:Server Settings:Abandonment (private servers may be adjusted)”.
If this is true (and I guess it is true, as I’ve seen dozens times bunch of thralls, some hanging in the air, in places where a building was), 15 days means that I should have forgotten to log in in the period Dec 25th-Jan 9th, while I’m pretty sure I did it, twice at least.
Ok, this is what happened then and I must withdraw my last statement: evidently I didn’t log in for two weeks and this explains why the thrall were gone on both servers I play in.
Thank you for tagging that thread Buhrau, I’ll stick with that.
Maybe I understand what happened with the not synchronized decay timers of buildings and thralls.
For the first years, the decay timer on building was set to 7 days, while for the thralls it was set to 15, so when during the holidays they doubled the building decay, the two timers practically coincided.
Then they decided to extend the building timer to 10 days (thanks for that), as it is now and left the thralls one to 15, but doubling the building decay for the holidays we’ll have the last 5 days gap in which the thralls will decay.
