I would love to have a poison that negates perks. The only counter would be survival 4 perk.
Then pvpers would treat Survival 4 as the new meta of the week.
How would that work? I like the idea of adding new type of poisonous effects.
Would that stack? I mean it would not be neccessary, 1 stack just like the acidic effect.
Would that permamently eliminate perks, or just blocks until it lasts?
In my opinion it would be better if the new debuff does not just simply remove already applied buffs, just add negative buffs until it lasts. For example a new “poison of the weak” would subtract 5 points from the opponents STR (or “poison of the lazy” steals points from GRIT, etc.) for 8 seconds until it lasts. No matter if they have STR buff from elixirs/armor/tatto/etc. or not, just plain -5 STR.
Or if it is stackable, -1 point/stack (max. 5 stacks) from whatever attribute.
And it they have buff on that attribute, it would still add that +5 (potion for example), but the outcome would be still less than non-poisoned.
Because if you manage to hit somebody with the new poison once, and all of their applied buffs are gone, that is too OP.
Haven’t a clue how it would work…i figured that detail can be hashed out in the forum but the idea of loosing perks temperarily is very appealing since so many folks (especially in Siptah attire) maximized their effects and negating these affects would bring a little chaos to a battle.
Maybe a type of cloud effect that negates attribute bonuses in armor? Things to bring more variability in the combat and therefore more fun!
I like the potions more. Probably with a Lobrary of esoteric stuff recipe (just for the sake of the RNG ).
I think I’d like to see a general repass on the player perks honestly. Or (and this is a big OR) make it so if you have perk 3 in two attributes they combine to give you an additional perk. Like perk 3 in vit and sur give you extra DR or something. Basically make so many potentially lethal combos that the complaint is then “we demand more attribute points!” I think then you know you’ve got a good assortment of options.
Nice idea there…or perhaps trade ins…you give up this and that perk to get a new perk. Max of five active at any point on time.
I’d be down with that. The perk system could use some love in almost any form. It is a bit lackluster the way it is.
