The current perk system makes for pretty shallow character builds. I’d like to suggest 1 fixed perk for 5-points and 20-points in an attribute, and perk selections for every 2 points between them. This would give a player a total of 7 choices for how they want to use their attribute in gameplay.

They have blessed attributes (perks) for thralls and pets, but only corrupted attributes for players. Just make blessed/corrupted mutually exclusive.
The current system is trash. You have to pick the specific ones if you want to have a chance in pvp combat, you can’t play in any other style or your only choice is to run away. And don’t say learn to play, i’ve played the game well over 5 years now. There’s no sense in getting killed with one hit while wearing 1200+ armor and your own hits barely do any damage to a NAKED player. One guy was casually storing our stuff into his chests when he raided us while i was pounding him with my axe, then he just turned around and with one hit i was history.
Of course you should have some advantage with combat perks over some other choices but not this much, the players like me who don’t care to have just those perks active should still stand a chance.
