Ive searched the forum but have found conflicting or outdated info and im trying to find out what exactly is protected on my base in a PVE Conflict official server. A post mentioned windows are vulnerable to thievery so you shouldnt make them - is it true? Another post claimed that crafting stations outside my base can be looted - is that true? I wanted to leave my home doorless to let people find shelter during a storm or to be able to use my crafting stations, but some have said that anything can be looted - is it true? I come from playing Fallout 76 where i leave my home wide open and all my stuff is completely safe, but im afraid its completely different here. Any help is appreciated - thank you all.

on pve conflict offical servers you not can open chest and workstation of other players in the pvp time you can fight other players but not destroying bases when you die other players can loot your body

On Official PvE (c) servers you can NOT loot chests or work benches whatsoever, unless your base is in a state of decay. Open windows can lead to people using poison arrows to try and kill someone they see sleeping inside, but that can only be done during the PvP window.

I would suggest you to move in pve.
But…
Even in pve trolls exist!
So!
Make sure you ain’t going to build close to a world boss
Make sure you’ll create a beautiful perimeter, that allows others to climb and visit and it doesn’t hide your estate.
Make sure you’ll build away from “neibhors” because their purge may hit your estate too.
In pve nobody can kill you nobody can steal you. If you care not to do the same, why you are still on pve c?
