Another Suggestion is adding a melee weapon for chasing, which could be a the BO staff with a leg sweep that causes 1 stack of cripple. Or some sort of chain Mace or whatever its called
How about a bolas? For chasing that is.
I still feel they should add a Khitan traditional weapon like a BO-staff. Theres no Khitan weapon in the game, except fot the DLC reskins.
The Mace/spiked ball on a chain you are talking about here Milky is actually called a Morning Star. I have it on the list in my first post. They are such a darn cool weapon hey.

Is morning star a subset of a flail or are these same or variants?

Could also be a flail as well. Morning stars can be both a mace style. Generally with Spikes.
A flail always has a chain mounted to a shaft.

@Hexsing and @Fable Gentlemen, while I believe you may be right (I do tend to use the two terms interchangably at times), the most important things to know about it are as follows. Grip it by the shafted end, hit unfortunate Exile with rounded/spherical end, laugh at his ensuing loss of legs.

And a hunting trap, the player steps in and become stuck in place until the trap is destroyed. (Low hp on trap, like 10hp, takes a 6 second animation to deploy the trap on the ground).

Im All about alchemy.
Smoke Bomb (Remove Aggro for a period of time)
Knockout Gas
Flash Bang (causes stagger)
Lotus Bombs (Cause the Drunk debuff while in the cloud. Headache right after leaving for a brief period.)
Caltrops? Why not. Super Lore friendly Area slowed cripple.
Bearings: cause the enemy to slip and fall in an area where the bearings are.
All useful.
Personally I’m not entirely interested in bombs. Maybe it’s because usually bombs have not been so mandatory (or practical) in games. Their usefulness has been questionable at best. I do like Bomberman though. 
I like throwable items. The ones I mentioned would give very new dynamics which are sadly missing.
